Naruto x Hermione as a single pairing would make more sense than a harem, I'd think. I'm wondering what women will be in the harem and how many. Though, I don't think Hermione would be happy to be in a polyamorous relationship, but I'm not that into the Harry Potter franchise. *Shrug* She just doesn't seem like the type to me.

Lions have a bad rap for being lazy for what people see in a zoo but if you put a king in a jail you won’t see much different from that. Lions patrol their territory all night and guard where their pride rests during the day. They’re kicked out as cubs from their pride and have to survive alone while growing a mane that makes them more visible than lionesses, with a pride however the lionesses often take the lion when they hunt larger and more dangerous prey. Yes they kill cubs, it’s more important for the pride for the Lion to have food than for a single cub to and the lion isn’t going to raise another lions offspring who will grow up to fight it. Lions do co-operate with other prides often patrolling neighberhood territories and there have been very few instances of a pride having two liones with different mates which is more palatable for documentaries and the like given current human social norms and stigma.

Nathan doesn’t consider himself Naruto but considers himself enough of Naruto to think it’s 30? (should be 28 as Naruto died at 16 in you’re prolgue since that was when the fight took place).

Oh you did read the books. Ron was the most accurate representation of somone acting their age in the series, unfortunately due to Mary Sue Hermione, protag Harry and the harem genre he’s bashed. Well that and tons of people resent him for being with Hermione over Harry but honestly people can’t accept that Ron was an average person and any real criticism that can be laid at his feet goes double for Harry. Like Harry never grew up and got a grip to actually start learning and training either, Hermione magically could learn, master spells instantly and be better at social interaction than Harry and Ron also while being just as good a fighter. Compared to that talentless and discarded for his sister by his poor family emotional Ron would look bad.

yeah Snape got Harry and Nevile's parents killed, he eagerly helped to orphan them and then as a teacher he outright bullied them... but being a female loved romance cliche of being devoted to a woman who rejected him for the rest of his life means he gets a by for every bad thing he does.

Nathan isn't anything like Naruto. I like he's smart and all but he's passive and the only times he goes out of his way to actively do something it's to spend more time with Hermione and train. Outside of that this is just like a Self Insert story that isn't a crossover and follows canon. Nathan is too boring to hold my attention and the people he seems to surround himself with don't interest me either. And no making Hermione even more of a Mary Sue won't make her more interesting.

As for the writing, you've done a pretty good job in terms of language and grammer. I think you're giving the pairing and Hermione too much focus and forgetting to give Nathan a personality, seriously he's so incredibly dull, I may as well be reading a Hermione lovestruck Sai. Anyway est of luck, I think the Dumbledore and Grindlewald thing you hinted at could be pretty interesting but with Nathan having so little personality I know I'll be bored most of the time so I'll stop here.

i actually guessed as such back when Dumbles had his eye change the first time. it took me a moment to figure it out. once i remembered grindelwalds eyes, it all clicked. you were pretty clever with how you hid things, but you dropped a couple big hints early in that made guessing the truth easy. the chocolate frog card, and dumbledore's eye momentarily changing color.

it reappears briefly in the books. harry gives the key to Molly Weasley so she can purchase his school gear at the same time as her children's. oddly it is never seen nor mentioned again. there is no scene of her returning the key to harry, and he oddly never asks about it.

this is actually a common fanon point to start off some weasley bashing.

now i am personally not a fan of weasley bashing. other then Fred and George, i am not a big fan of the weasley's but i don't hate them. Ginny is an overly clingy fangirl, and reminds me too much of lily for me to be comfortable pairing her with Harry. Ron is the definition of a Fair Weather friend. Percy is a brown nosing putz, bill and Charlie are alright, but they don't appear often or long enough for anyone to really get to know them.

Arthur is fun, but needs a wake up call about Muggles. the man is a breach of the Statute of Secrecy waiting to happen.

Molly is overbearing and far to controlling of her family. which is why it is my belief, and one shared with many fans, that all her kids move out as soon as they legally can just so they can get away from her and live the lives they choose.

i'm a DIEHARD Harmony fan, and i will always ship Harry/Hermione, so i will never accept they canon pairings at the end. even Rowling herself has expressed regret over not putting Harry and Hermione together at the end of the books. while ron and Hermione was always the end goal, she has admitted on the record, that the books evolved in such a way, as they were written, that it became apparently obvious that hermione and Ron were wrong for each other.

but she stuck with her original intent, to her current shame. she is apparently a fan of harmony fanfics for that very reason.

anyways, i am PRAYING, this fic doesn't fall into too many of the HP fandom cliches. like potion mistress molly.
