well, I'm really, really late but - oh my god this one-shot was amazing! I think it perfectly captured all of Kakashi's relationships with Uchiha's. And ironically, they all left when they were thirteen years old. Anyway, the line that really got to me was -
" they promote a thirteen-year-old boy to lead his own squad of killers " because that, of all things, really symbolizes who Itachi was, in a way. He's barely older then Sasuke in the start of Naruto, and he's leading his own squad of killers. It blows my mind.
what I'm trying to say is that you're an amazing writer and I love all of your works, including the ones on A03! :)
