This was an awesome chapter and I can’t wait to see how it goes in the next one. I’m wondering how Carn will deal with the capital and Sense there are a bunch of Kobold that live in the city how he will get them to safety. I wonder if his clan thinks he is still alive or not and how the battle went. All in all this was a great chapter can’t wait for the next one.

I've been wondering. are there metallic dragons in this world and does bahamut (the lawful good counterpart to tiamat in dnd) exist.

Honestly, it's so tiring reading one chapter centred around slavery. But to know that this goes on for several more chapters yet? It's completely demoralising. Those whom trudged on are true warriors.

Nothing from the circle of usurpation on the mind walker? Yea unlike everyone else I bet the Wrath took one good look and noticed what main character really is. Well a disater about to start and I cant wait to see it happen.

Finally that damn slave crest is gone. It’ll be nice to see Carn no longer have to hold back for fear of the crest being used/altered because he’s unique. Why did that happen though, was it a special trait of the dagger’s hell poison or something? Cause if a physical wound disrupting the crest is all it took to free him, any number of the fights he went through including the werewolf and doppelgänger should have freed him. Feels a little cheap that the Circle of Usurpation didn’t trigger after his psychic battle with the cyclops, that was the most dangerous foe for him in the area and he only survived due to Magnus’ strength of will and Caron’s durability.

Kinda sad that the demons are a “Enemy of All Races” threat, would have loved to see Carn just grab his friends and walk away, letting the demons do as they like to this whole stupid slaving empire. He better at least get a good reward for killing a Named Major Demon.
