From what I can tell with the title suggesting this is a rewrite, I definitely like the concept behind this story, quite simple yet effective in making potential for new story arcs with the drastically different class compared to 1-A. It does admittedly feel awkward that this hasn't been updated in over a year, but I still see a lot of potential here.

I like the changed a lot so far. I would recommend dropping Re-Written from the title once you get past the point you left off before the rewrite though (chapter2?)

*slams hands on table* Yes! I am living for this. I always want Midoriya to tell people that he only just manifested his quirk during the exam when he's in an 'AU with a slight diffidence'. I think I've only seem like, 3 other fics do that?

Well that aside, I love this like everyone else does. I can't wait for friendship interactions between Midoriya and class 1-b kids. I'm all up for that. :)))

Oh right, I forgot to read that part. Anyway, Im glad that Deku is friends with Monoma. And Tetsutetsu-my God! - I love the way you wrote his parts! He's really in character. This is really interesting story since we'll be reading a different point of view from the canon. Also, I wonder if you will add the UA traitor theory in this story. It would be very interesting if the traitor is Bakugo or anyone from 1-A.

This is an interesting idea. There aren't that many fanfics with Izuku in Class 1B. Things seem good so far. Keep up the good work.
P.S. I loved how Tetsutetsu stood up to Bakugo. He really put him in his place.

I figured that if you were going to maintain the class sizes that you would have to transfer someone from 1-B to make room for Midoriya. but I'd simply expected them to be swapped into 1-A. By placing Shinso in Midoriya's spot in 1-A it looks like you've pretty much dropped Hiryu Rin (quirk: scales). Granted, even after the recent manga arc he's still one of those characters who really doesn't stand out (I had to go through a class list to figure out who was missing) but the same could still probably be said for about a third of the 1-B students. So how did you decide between them?

Regarding your reasoning for Shinso's inability to pass the practical exam for the hero course, I somewhat agree. Based on Aizawa's comments during the sports festival it sounds like he simply wasn't physically up to the challenge at the time (probably intended to rely on his quirk - seems to be a common problem among first year students). When he went up against Midoriya during the sports festival he lost simply because once Midoriya used One-For-All to break Shinso's mental hold (as well as his own finger) - Midoriya was able to push him out beyond the boundary using only his own strength (something for which Midoriya could thank All Might's ten month long training regiment from hell).

Looking forward - will Kendo enlist Midoriya to assist in her "keep Monoma from opening his big mouth" campaign? Or will she merely assign him to tutor Pony in Japanese? (seems like he's an obvious choice for that sort of task)

Now that Izuku and Katsuki are in different sections of the hero course, the latter can't mess with the former without incurring the wrath of the other Class 1-B students, as proven by Tetsutetsu. Oh no, 1-B is going up against the big 3 of U.A? RIP.

I wonder how Vlad King is going to handle Dekus quirk breaking his body apart? I imagine a more caring teacher then Eraserhead would sit Deku down and tell him he has to find a way to use his quirk without breaking his body. Possibly pushing deku towards full cowl earlier? Which would be a great thing personally.
