Sorry for late review .. again. Let's see, once again thankfully no death from the main castbut those poor common folks. As soon as Jaune was stuck I got nightmares of Pyrrha's death ... just rearrangement of atoms through virtual space, how easy it would have been. But good lord we have a very understanding Author with common sense, who used "The Variables" to change the outcome via goal seeking For Watts. Our hero emerges from the steel grave, heart thumping in his chest for his girlfr... no potential girl... no, friends. Ahhahahhaa I am really pushing for The Arkos here,

To elaborate a bit more. Having OP villains who always win reduces the tension just as much as if they always lose because the reader stops going into the story feeling like anybody could win.

Powerful villains are fun , but only for as long as them surviving a fight doesn’t feel forced. Watts’ virtual space was the only thing saving his ass, and then Jaune figured out a way to break it. To have Watts survive to live another day feels ridiculous.

On a similar note, villains like Tyrian who are “normal” shouldn’t be able to fight protagonists to a standstill. Having so many villains that only one character MIGHT be capable of beating, when the story is set in an ensemble cast universe just doesn’t work.

This. Is. Awesome! A very good story. Needs more Arkos though.
Looking forward to more.

I dunno how Wats survived. An its not cool at all, every encounter with villains to that point ended with villain retreating and I expected that one finally will be the last for Wats...

Honestly every villain in this story is so op it’s annoying. They all manage to scramble away or get a huge power up every single time without fail, it’s honestly starting to drag a bit.

I’m stoked for more lost belt stuff but what I really want is super karna he looks dope
