its cool dont stop writing. His perspective is quite nice and of course he should yet use return by death. I wouldnt make sense to get a new protagonist who is tougher and smarter, just to let him die like normal. But later on I would like to know what a "hardened" Yakuza could do with that ability especially if his morals are more grey and he doesnt fear pain & death as much as the original.

Huh, a bit confused by his lack of return by death, though now that i think about it i don't know if it's specific to his personality or if Satella gave it to him.
Anyway, chapter 10/10. Really liking this AU thus far, keep it up!
Also will he try to contact a blacksmith once he gets some money to try and take a look at his gun&bullets, have it replicated and become a [Merchant of Death]?

So Subaru intends to form the yakuza in here too, huh? that would surely take a long time...
although from the voices telling him to help Emilia, it seems satella wants him to still go to her camp like normal so it will be interesting to see if he can perhaps form an army like Anastasia with yakuza teaching for their camp. of course, if there's even a compelling enough reason for him to go there and follow the voice instruction, maybe at first he will ignore Emilia to focus on making a base for himself in the capital and finding some way to earn money but when Emilia dies Subaru's heart stops so he'll have to focus more on helping her...
