Well damn, talk about an entrance. Their already down 1 squad member, the local Commander was assassinated in front of them, and they haven't even got to the target yet, nevermind had the trap sprung on them. This is certainly the bloodiest battle so far.

I love this story but I’m confused why the UNSC isn’t making ample use of military drones from atlas to supplement their own lagging forces. Also when can we expect to see them actually start reinforcing and expansion efforts in Menagerie? Cyclopes and Mantis striding over smoldering Grimm corpses as Atlas Knights using UNSC software secure borders and work to free to space for the beligured Faunus?

You made Cordovin true to her character while showing her different side than the one we've seen. Amazing.

I also agree that Colossus looks like her most loved child project. She loves it, loves using it, and you can see her enjoyment from doing so. She is loyal to the people she protects, sometimes short-sighted, but a fighter to the end. Will try to do what's good for Atlas public image, and image in general as we can see here with redirecting Specialists, but she's not an evil, crazy maniac, just a (probably amazing in her prime) mech pilot promoted to a position she should not be in and trying her best.

Also, amazing entrance by the Dominion, now let's see the fireworks in the next chapter!
