Well, I stumbled onto this a bit by accident, and I'm very happy that I took the time to read it! It's very well written, and I'm very happy that someone is covering the darker aspects of the world that is A certain Magical Index/Scientific Railgun.

I've watched the anime when I was 12, and I loved it and didn't really notice it at the time, but recently with the release of the III season, I've gone back and rewatched everything, and it stuns me just how MESSED up the entire series really are. I love how they manage to hide it behind a more comedy/Adventure/slice of life story, but still...
Accelerator commited some kind of genocide and literally goes insane at times, Misaka has seen people die around her, killed people and tried to commit suicide, and that's not even scratching the surface of the shit Touma has been through. How are these kids still mentally functionable?

I'm very happy that you're exploring the traumas that the MCs are going through, and I particularly enjoy the shoutouts to all the previous events that happened in the earliest parts of the series, things that tend to go forgotten are brought up here. And it's nice how you managed to show Touma's suffering, but successfully got him to stay true to his original personality. It adds far more credibility to the story.

And I really appreciate how you wrote Misaka's personality. You managed to maker her seem serious, and still poke fun at her tsundere personality. That little touch made me smile.

All in all, good work. I'm looking forward to see how this story progresses - if you have another chapter in the works. This story does work as a simple oneshot.

I have high hopes for the potential this story has, aside from being a huge MisakaxTouma fan, I've always found most stories that delve into the infinite hells to be very intriguing on how authors like to view the possibilities of what could've went down in them. But more so the fact, as you said, that it never seemed to impact touma a while lot after the initial magic gods arc. I love stories that play off of how distraught it'd actually make him and the fact you're using misaka as the supportive role is a huge bonus in my eyes

I really wish the Feather of Light worked differently since I think it would be super interesting to see if Mikoto could accidentally return Touma's original memories. And I'm totally not saying that because that's where I'd love to see this story go. Either way, having Mikoto experience what Touma's gone through will be interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing how you do it.
