| Kara Kon-El chapter 5 . 8/21/2019 This is WONDERFUL! (And... they probably won't go to Disneyland but it was so funny to see Hermione suggest it! Oh, god.) Cygnus' reaction was very telling - while his morality lies rooted in the old beliefs, he was more accepting of Hermione being a muggle-born (even in his dislike and anger) than Walburga Black would've ever been. It was tense and, in a way, tragically lovely - that after years in the dark, he came to learn a bit more about his daughter's life... ... sad as her circumstances are (what with losing her family to a war). It might have been a trainwreck of a conversation, but Hermione tried her best to make Narcissa look good. I'm sure she left an impression! The bathroom scene was lovely, too. I find it joyful how easy it is for both of them to make conversation, tease one another, just simply exist without most of the awkwardness that shroud new, tentative relationships. They feel at ease around each other, and it shows. I love it. Thank you for writing this. |

Oh, and Narcissa discovering the Muggle World with the help of Hermione sounds like a delightful experience (although, all I can think about, after they went to Starbucks, is Hermione dragging Narcissa to Disneyland Paris, bahaha. Because She is being such a brat... and I love it.) Thank you for writing this. |
