I can't believe I didn't realize you wrote a new story, I'm so happy because you're such a great writer. I love that you made Tobias a student working in security at the FBI, and eventually after finishing school he would be an agent, how sexy. Wow, Jeanine is such a bitch, calling Tobias a boy when he's twenty-eight years old. I can't believe she called the cops even after Tobias found his keys. Tobias had a point, you don't change your address on your license if your just staying there short term. I loved how Tris just jumped right in to help tobias. I love how she called him Four and he went right along with it. I love when Jeanine said I wasn't sure if Tobias was Marcus' son and Tris said of course he is, he looks just like him. Even with Fernando saying Tobias was Marcus' son, they were still giving him a hard time. I loved how Tris gave Jeanine her own hashtag #DoorStopJeanine, hahaha. Come on Tobias, the girl just wants to get a drink with you to get to know you. I'm glad that Tobias finally calmed down and asked Tris if she wanted to go to dinner with him. I loved this, hope sometime we get to read about their dinner and maybe some Fourtris action in the future.

I loved this! You fit so much background into a short space, particularly for Tobias. I'm definitely curious to learn more about his separation from Marcus and their attempts at reconciliation and if Marcus is the same abusive asshat here that he typically is or not (it sounds like maybe not). I will say, though, that it works fine as a one-shot, so it's completely up to you whether to continue it or not.

By the way, I loved that Tris gave him the nickname Four in this. That's the first time I've seen that twist. I also liked the social justice angle, and I thought it was great that Tobias is a POC, as he should be with his mother's background. That's generally ignored, so I appreciated finally seeing him the "right" way.
