Hi! I read this full story within around..2 hours and 30 minutes. I started at 4am and finished it at 6. Anyway, I knew I had to leave a review. It’d be a crime not to. There are flaws that make this story flawless. Though if I were to be serious and pick a flaw it’d be that the writer delved more into before Aki and Toru got married and where Aki was confused at his feelings for Toru more than the actual relationship between the two. I don’t wish for you to elaborate on this story as I find the story good. I do wish that we could’ve gotten more chapters from the author about after Aki told Toru he loved her rather than Aki’s death, Torus kindness and Shigure. Please do not take this the wrong way as I have declared this one of my favourite Akiru fanfics. My favourite one is Living Louder but this one is a second coming close to 1st. I found all the characters to be in character but I do think Kyou and Yuki were all little OOC about the whole ‘Toru moving out stuff’ and so was Shigure, he was solemn which usually (in any situation) he would’ve cried about Toru leaving him and his ‘Little flower’ moving away. I hope I didn’t ramble too much..umm..oh well..It’s be nice if you replied to me, Author! I’d love to hear what you thought about my review. Well, I favourited the story and followed it!

I totally enjoyed the last chapter. You nicely tied everything up, but this one was very interesting.

As a matter of fact, I found the complete story utterly fascinating. I love the way you took Akito, his selfishness, his unhappiness, and gradually transformed him into someone who could care for one special person.
Even more I like the way you developed a stronger, happier Akito in a very believable fashion.

I have to admit I was relieved that this was an Akito/Tohru romance. I thought it was trending in that direction, but she could easily have been paired with Yuki, Shigure, or Hatori...but I was thrilled this ended with Akito and Tohru together.

The male Akito is always the one that I feel the strongest 's the one that I've always felt there was the most hope for... I've never quite been able to buy into the Akito as a female...or that Yuki thought of Tohru as a mother. That's where I part ways with Takaya-san.

Thank you for writing an excellent story with an extremely plausible plot.

I know you wrote this story several years ago, but I am reading it for the first time. I found it in one of the archives that houses a few of my fanfics. You really weave a twisted tale...I think I have it figured out and then I find myself wondering if the obvious is really what I think it is. I'll have to continue reading...I'm having fun guessing. I think I know where this is going, but I wouldn't bet on it. Interesting story so far. I like the way you present Akito's point of view, and also have a good grasp of how other Sohmas will think. On to the next chapter.

Lovely story! I liked how Akito changed gradually instead of "Poof! I love you Tohru! I nice as a kitten now!" I've read some truly terrible stories where he is suddenly an angel within a few chapters. Thanks for all your hard work writing this. I loved it!
