This is a very interesting story. I like how you made the parents more subtle in how they are disagreeing with Ash. What I mean by that is you are writing more “we’re trying to make her act in a way that we think is right” instead of making it “She has to be a certain way just because”

Also, I like how you are making the parents choose when to act like they accept her. Overall they were just very well-written.
