A very well thought and believable way to keep Ace alive :-) That Luffy did so well surviving Akainu was a little stretched, but given how much he has proven to be a prodigy at Observation Haki in canon it still works. Nice job :-D

Pretty nice imo. I'd say if anything it could be made into a two-shot about what happened after but definitely not a full on story since that would be basically the same as the original with slight changes which would ruin it. Making it stay a one-shot leaves it to the imagination about if the WBP survived and what happened next so I'd say it was a good idea to leave it at that.
