Poor Tilly! At first I thought she was a house elf (because most fics name house elves as Tilly lol) so I was mightily confused. I feel sorry for Hermione, though! Lily not standing up to her friends is understandable, but bully for Hermione :( I also thought the Tom you mentioned was Riddle haha. Then I saw the Eloise Midgen name so I was thinking that maybe this was a muggle au where characters from different eras were mixed up in one lol. Can’t wait to see where this fic will take me! Please, please continue writing. I don't know how often I already reread this story. Better these two chapters and all your other work. I'm totally intrigued with this story. It is written so perfectly. I mean I kinda know what is going to happen with her mom, but I still wanna read it in this style. Please don't give up. It's such a great idea and you have so much talent in writing.

I'm really curious to see where this will end up going. It's been a hot minute since I read the books but I swear I remember hearing that what you've written about Hermione's school interactions was exactly what happened, right? It's interesting to have it properly laid out. I am curious why you've decided to give her a new family through adoption rather than simply shifting the timeline for the Granger's - I'd like to see the reasoning behind that choice and whether it flows into the plot at all. Good fun and well written, I am excited to see what's next.
