Well, it looks like the rest finally caught up with the Rogues. It's one story down there. That is clear. It is one hell of a story and well, we can just wonder how things go on that Bastion.

With The Tribe, that is what you could expect of it would go down. It's clear that it wouldn't last. The whole things of the ending is one thing. And it was some story in how it would go down. With the whole story, I wonder what Salem possessed to let Cinder go. It won't go like that.
So color me surprised that she is fine with letting Cinder walk away with Amber, Oscar and Vernal.

For Killian, if he can get himself offed that would be fine.

Really great atmosphere

Great chapter. Just one thing I want to point out:

“He yelled, pummelling Cinder's face into the ground over and over again. With her aura down, she could not use her Maiden Powers, which meant that they were gonna have to do this the old-fashioned way.”

Maidens are capable of using their magic even when their Auras are down. Amber did it in Volume 3 when she made a gust of wind to blow away Cinder as well as lightning and fire against Mercury and Emerald.

Also in Volume 5 where after both Raven and Cinder has their Aura down, Raven was still able to freeze Cinder causing her to fall off the Vault.

Well, didn't see that one coming. Then again. I rather don't find out what you think out. Too much of a bad thing. With Robyn Hill. That was one change. It's clear that Killian will end her when he finds her again. I can imagine it might sting.

Again. The same story. I don't care about Killian and how interesting you try to make it. I just don't find a need for it. As for the rest of it. It was a huge story driven chapter. The plans are laid out and the best ones for foiling this aren't around. That is going to work well.

One thing that ought to work out is when soldiers kill the ones who needed to be killed. Like the UGR. Can you believe that's the only part that I am happy about? If Killian would be killed off in that, it would be the icing on the cake. With Salem, she got a seriously bad thing planned. All the Academies at once. That is going to be one shock.

I kinda expected that Watts had some links to the Schnee given his heritage. I didn't expect that he was the Uncle of Weiss. So he is the Black Sheep of the family. Again. Pun so very much intended. The question is if Arthur is better at the job than Jacques.

The rest is catching up with the Rogues. The sooner they do that, the better. I look forward to it all. Good luck on your next chapter. No title yet?

Very good dialogues and atmosphere, can't wait to see more

It's indeed one scary trip. Ironic if you consider the fact it's full summer and we got a first of many hot weeks to come. With the whole thing here, the four and Winter went after their friends. Maybe they should have known the fact that The Grimm can't be killed BEFORE they entered that God forsaken ice plane.

It reminded me of two games. The Yeti from Far Cry 4 and the blizzards from my long survival Sessions in The Division One. Good times I had back there. Also. Matt. Lesson for you. Nobody likes comic relief characters. Just a message for you. I am not sure what you'll do with it.

It is also clear that Jacques is a lot worse than they first thought. He still used Slaves out in the cold. A delayed Death Sentence and only for his greed. He was chosen as part of the Council. Those up there lost touch with reality. It looks like that would never change.

The Rogues also had their encounters with the Grimm. Question will be what will happen when they finally meet.

As for Killian, I am not rooting for that Hypocritical Bastard. Still don't and I don't think you'll use him for a good thing. Like murdering out the Entire Council before he gets offed.

Gotta say, seeing the Wildlands was pretty awesome. So sad about Adam's parents. Yes, you are right; Jerk Schnee is an asshole .

The Yeti was awesome. I half expected to see that in Volume 7 (that or a Wendigo.)

That was so cool I’ve been waiting along time for this thank you I see you haven’t gotten many reviews lately and that is a shame because this story is so good.

Also have everyone in her faction but Ruby instantly attack Jaune’s faction in the mines to show them growing more hostile and ruthless due to their time as rouges with ruby having to stop them and convince them to listen to what Jaune has to say.

Hey, two updates from two of my favorite RWBY fics. Well, that is news. I was kinda hoping to read about the Thieves but hey, you can’ change that.

So far, you really had some ideas with the name-calling. But some things. They seem so far away compared to now. Back then things changed.

About the whole talking of it. We all heard the song before, the tune isn’t different. They’re going after indeed the materials and Winter is lucky to have a friend in Pietro. The talking and joking. Some bits of humor can’t hurt.

Although things aren’t looking up for them with their dad on the Council although Matt, maat. Do me one favor. Don’t get politics involved. There is a reason why I am not that much up for it. Some talking in effect, you can’t avoid it but some rip-offs, come on.

It’s good that they found out about her and that she was saved. It’s heartbreaking that he found about his doctor and let me guess, that is why you posted that picture on the server, right? Besides that, we also got Ruby.

She really has no idea how things are out there and that won’t change that much. That banter is one joke. But hey, that is just fun to read about them. Jaune really got unlucky that he is the only guy around them. Even so, they have to get their heads out there. and well, they would make their way out there.

Glad to see your brother is also still out there. Do him my regards although I am not too sure about the whole setting out there. It might have something to do with the series but it is no fun out there. I don’t think I played any game like that. Or perhaps Far Cry Primal. But hey, it is clear how bad things are out back there and what all can change.

Very good dialogues

That is not going down well. I know that. Shay is going to be the death of them all. Or for a good load of them. Not everyone is going to walk away from that. I think that Cinder or Raven had to kill that guy sooner.

Besides that, we finally got see Oscar again in action. I think Valvarn is going after his Niece and Nephew. Those guys are finally in Mantle with both their Allies and Enemies on their heels. They'll figure out how to get Gear and get the hell after them.

I didn't expect Jacques to be there either. That ought to go well.

The rest hasn't lost their heads just yet but Cordovin has. I think she'll send the Ace Ops after them after they find out that the group went there. This is going to be fun.

And yeah, that Easter Egg was picked up. Umbra is around or at least, a Soothsayer. I hope that He won't get involved in this. They gotta deal with one maniac. I don't think they would like to get a second one.
