Fantastic all throughout! You're great at writing Astrid and Hiccup together, their dialogue flows naturally and their mannerisms (Hiccups stuttering for example) is well established helping your characterization of them.

I liked this a lot. I always envisioned Hiccup and Astrid both needing some extra comfort after the events of Buffalord Soldier, so this really appealed to me. It felt natural and had good pacing. Very nicely done, and I hope you do more like this in the future.

First, lemme just say I was a bit thrown off seeing your pennane here. In my mind, you are connotated with the RWBY side of things (granted I have been spending a lot more time there than here lately).

This was well done. You never cease to amaze me with your balance of seriousness mixed with an adequate amount of fluff and friendly support.
This episode was a rough one, and I enjoy these stories that fill in the aftermath.

Your characterization and use of imagery is nothing short of brilliant. Battle drums make the perfect analogy for Astrid's heartbeat and it really stuck out to me as something extraordinary. You seem to have a natural gift for flowing between tension and peace as well, which makes this even more of a fun read. Don't fret if stories like this don't get much attention; that's a small price to pay for writing this compelling.

Okay first of all you have No idEA how happy I am to see you writing content for Hiccup and Astrid. Like,, it’s 8:30 in the morning rn and I have a lab today but I don’t care about any of that bc I just got to read this? It’s so soft and tender, and Exactly what I’ve been wanting to read ever since I first watched this episode. Also, just a side note, you do so well with colorful imagery in your writing. It all sounds so pretty and it’s really relaxing to read tbh.
