I loved it, it was so Walter.
It is good to recognize that the fault was shared, even among the entire team, not only between Paige and Walter.

Happy to be back and began with a fluff! I love that Walter was not really engaging with them and keeping his distance. It’s so true to the character.

Oh, this is so good! I love how you have Walter basically shutting down his emotions after the break up, because that would be the logical/efficient thing to do. It's exactly how he might react. Sometimes it seems that Paige gets most of the blame for what happened so I love that you have them acknowledge that they share the blame and they both made mistakes. (Also, I love that they did it on the couch... twice!)

Okay first off WHY did it take this fic for it to fully hit me that their "our relationship will destroy scorpion" fear came true? JESUS FORKING CHRIST. That hurts.

I love how Walter was so seemingly indifferent to her basically performing mating rituals right in front of him. Part of me thought that he was acting that way on purpose because he knew it would bother her. xD I may have to write that now. Then she shows back up like I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL it's so great. What you actually did was so painful and profound, though. He just was like okay, this is how my brain works, you told me I wasn't good for you so I shut my interest off. It's painful but it's also SO Walter.

I also love how Paige's lack of perfection is acknowledged here, but it's also pointed out how often she is okay with the way he is, and if he's allowed to mess up sometimes, so is she. That's something I think some of us do forget sometimes. (Granted, I think we're just trying to compensate for all the times the show acted like Walter was the only person who ever messed up, but still.)

And then I fucking LOVED the parallel to them doing it multiple times on the couch. Ugh have I said lately how much I love your writing?
