I was looking at the story on top of my update list and I said out loud "no fucking way" and then kept starting and said again "no fucking way" and then I pressed and went on the new chapter and I was like "fuckkkk" lmao

I was really liking this aside from the inexplicable friendliness Harry had towards Albus. But since the boggart scene, or rather since the Diagon Alley scene, this has been shit. His character did a 180, which would make sense given the mind healed and whatnot but he didn’t become more mature or calm, he became slightly detached and airy, not unlike Luna. Then next thing we know he is randomly having anger issues, is an unwitting animagus and his few friendships, including one that had literally just formed, ended, making him more angry. So you’ve essentially just thrown in a random, rather out of place issue that was the catalyst for further issues, which ultimately resulted in Harry being angry enough to use the killing curse without ever even learning the incantation. You actually haven’t even explained WHAT his animagus form is. No animals produce fiendfyre, the closest thing would be a dragon but he’s not breathing it, it’s more like he IS fiendfyre which is plain absurd. So we now have a friendless Harry whose soul Albus rightfully thinks is slowly becoming tainted with dark magic.

I mean you’ve made him cynical. It’s perfectly reasonable that he is, the issue is that the cynicism doesn’t extend to the staff or Albus. They all LET him be attacked daily. Even Poppy, while she healed his injuries she still never did anything about his malnutrition which we know is a problem in this story as he mentioned being used to the pain of starvation.

Yes. Because EVERYONE would be on friendly terms with the headmaster who just sat back and let them be ruthlessly assaulted time and again all year, never stepping in to dissuade the people of their vehement belief that Harry was the perpetrator. I’d be calling the man a useless piece of shit. The fact that he just showed he cared more for information than Harry’s well-being, by questioning him without so much as a diagnostic charm, is just another reason for Harry to not like him.

I'm interested, write MOAR! Jk. I do like the differences you've introduced and see potential. There may be stories of him later... But not legends... Yet.

This is not a flame. This is a question in the form of a rant.

Why. Why would in the utter fuck would Harry have the All seeing eyes of god. You don't explain half of the plot points your adding and then you add Mary Sue tier bullshit with the accidental animagus with no transformation then the edgy baggy akatsuki robes. Harry made a complete 180 in personality within the span of *days* with no catalyst. Not to mention attempting and failing dramatic Irony by failing to inform the audience of what Harry suspects. This chapter is a train wreck with bad pacing and random powerups with no tradeoffs and bad character "development" of which consists of random edge useless exposition and packed with boring scenes up to the gills. This was an Incredible Bulk in a otherwise amazing story. It was good then it was ass. Do not recommend

Great story! I read the six chapters in one go! Poor Harry, i really have to sympathize with his hard lige... hopefully it will get better for him. What happens now to Sirius? And False Moody?

Over-the-top excessively drawn-out 'betrayals'... weird mystic eyes... weird elemental abilities (somehow 'dual' affinities)... weird animagus form... I vaguely remember this awful fanfic - wherein the author just kept introducing new random abilities and plot points every alternate chapter or so, and the end result was a horrible mess.

This is the HP fandom, not the god-awful PJO one, where such randomness is seemingly the norm. This story would be leagues better if all of the above were dialed down a little.

Freaking love this story. Hope harry becomes a bit more ruthless though. Otherwise, great freaking job! Extremely entertaining and an all around interesting read. Thank you for your hard work
