Faving. Totally faving. I gotta know how this train wreck of a fight goes cuz Naruto over here just having ALL the bad luck! I mean he throws a rasengon bigger than his own body, with Kyuubi chakra even, right on target and it does absolutely nothing to Han. That's some shenanigans right there.

Y'know...I can't help but wonder if Orochimaru looks at Sasuke as damaged goods due to missing an eye instead of as precious cargo. Naruto was guessing that Orochimaru wouldn't want Sasuke far from him cuz of all the effort made but I just can't help but wonder...
And it's cute that Naruto tried to make friends with at least a few other chunin. Still surprised that Shino and Shikamaru didn't get promoted in this version as I figured you'd let one or both of them do so. Ah well.
Only one more chapter left! I'm eager to read but hesitant to be finished since this is currently incomplete...sigh.

Ha! That should've happened in canon! I swear! I will never willingly accept that Sasuke was given so many privileges/chances when he should have been disqualified and that Naruto wasn't promoted in rank despite being sent on a super special mission REGARDLESS that he went with a sannin. Good job on correcting that! Also who's going to inform Team 7 that Naruto chucked dueces cuz he's chunin now?

This is going pretty cool like. I always love a Naruto written in utilizing his strength and potential better than in canon.

Interesting. But why didn't Naruto speak up about his team abandoning him to his fellow genin? They did ask what happened.

This would be better if he summoned something other than toads, the toads suck and all of narutos teachers were pathetic

Well this is interesting so far but I still think you should have killed of Sasuke I don’t like traitors and it always annoyed me in cannon when they “redeemed” people
