Just my personal opinion.. learning a fuck tonne of spells doesn’t make you more capable in battle. The better bet would be learning only a few useful combat spells, mastering them and focusing on tactics. Quality trumps quantity.. I mean you have to hit them with the spell anyway, so what help is it having twenty spells that can win you the fight when you only need one? Then there’s the other things like shielding, transfiguration (both for defence against unforgivables and offence when wildly outnumbered) and dispelling. The only real spells you need to have quantity for are healing charms and counter curses.
