I love that for this time Thorin is a bit less strong.
and Bilbo is the hobbit of the situation since the beginning !
the misunderstanding was so funny not for Bilbo and Thorin but the double meaning of their sentences were really great !

Beautiful sweet story!

I was hoping for drunk Thorin and it was delivered!
This pining is like crack to me, I love it. You portrayed Bilbo’s emotions so well, I could feel it myself. He is so goddamn oblivious though, Thorin could be like “I’m in love with Bilbo” and he’d be like “Bilbo WHO”
I also liked all the hobbit interactions, from Primula and Drogo to Thorin dancing with the little girl.
Good ending though, you had me fucked up for a while there.

God this was so great...I loved that tension between them and all the little misunderstandings. But I felt kinda bad for Thorin, he’s having a rough go of it :(
I also liked the little detail of Bilbo’s family getting money from land ownership, I think that’s by far the best explanation of why he’s rich but doesn’t do anything lmao
And then seeing them gradually warm up to each other...I live for that sweet domesticity
