Back to this chapter.
First things first, now I am low-key stoked for some delish MariahxSpencer.
Also I love this version of the village, more modern instead of being a shithole in the middle of nowhere. Thinking about it, it seems more believable doesn't it?
Also I am sorta hating Tala for having any patience with Bryan at all. I mean I get he's important for the mission and all but hello. He's half the reason your man is being tortured somewhere right now so take a chill pill and let him answer for his actions.
He better get used to feeling out of depth now though. This ain't your world anymore. You know I am partial to the White Tigers (like c'mon they're called the White Tigers how badass is that?) And reading about my three babies tackling shit head on all authoritatively, so powerful ughhhhhhhh what a rush. I love my kitty babies.
Ugh I need more. Please.

Bahahahha! I knew the well deserved punch was coming, but I enjoyed the build up a little too much.

Enjoyed the flash back a lot as well. Interesting contrast of Ray and Tala's relationship. Back then we see Tala all cheeky and 'on top' so to speak and yet hear the tables seemed to have turned or evened out.

Touching little scene at the end there with them talking and having a little cute banter in amongst this chaos.

As always I love how the three are as a couple. The opener of them Kai trying to get Kai to smile was hilarious! XD Then the birthday part was so sweet and sad, been there relationship-wise, lol. I understand all the secrecy on Ray’s part but it’s still grating on my nerves. Talk! You’re a tryple! (A made up name for a three-person couple.)
Kai finding out he was gonna be a dad was so well done and very understandable. Tala again, well done! Can’t wait for more!

Was nice to read about 'the incident' in real time too. Ray's realization, the breaking down, every thing was so well written oh god.
The hospital scenes were a little too cute. So in character. Again, I LOVE this Tala.
And oh my God I wasn't expecting any of that Anette thing. At least they're safe for now. Aren't they?
