Jack Fenton is a buffoon that should be in prisión for his incompetence that already caused two fatal accidents* and Maddie isn't that far behind, Vlad's actions can't be excused but their origins are understandable, his friends abandoned him since his accident he was alone all those years traying to wrap his mind to the fact that Jack killed him whit his negligence whit a smile in his face, knowing what he iwas doing or not it doesn't matter because the result is exactly the same, I wouldn't wish a father like Jack Fenton to anyone

What’s this Phic Phight thing that I keep seeing fics for by people I have on alert?
Based on the prompt, this should be an interesting fic.
“Curiosity peaked”—I believe the word is ‘piqued’. (I’d recently looked it up when I saw someone use it to mean a bad mood. It apparently can mean interest or anger, either one, though I almost always hear it to mean feeling interested.)
Jack sounds perceptive here, wondering if Vlad was hiding in interest in (ghost) science because of stigma. (though, despite it being a good answer, it’s still not quite right. ...I wonder if Jack will come across any evidence of Plasmius or evil plans, or if the fic will end with him only knowing his friend has a lab ...with a hologram of his wife.)
Ooooh, sounds like Jack could be realizing that Vlad’s a thief, having a portal and ecto-filtrator just like theirs.
And now similar weapons, too. That could get Jack to thinking about Vlad without even knowing of his weird plans and half-ghostness. (also, I think you meant, “didn’t do such things”, but you wrote ‘so’ instead of ‘do’.)
Jack’s such a nice friend, thinking that he would’ve gladly shared his blueprints to rip them off.
Ooh, what if Vlad had been cloning at this time, and Jack saw a Danny clone? That would’ve been pretty creepy for him to have seen. As it is, with empty tubes that I think may’ve been for cloning (unless I’m mistaken), it adds suspense. Everything he sees, it’s close to him realizing something, but not quite. Near misses.
Haha, “What the hell?” Looks like Jack’s quite disgusted by Vlad having a holo-Maddie. I thought he might could’ve made up some excuse for her, like programming his two best friends in, or having programmed in Maddie for Jack if he ever were to be in the lab. But nope, Jack seems pretty disguised.
Hard to pause to write something here after I got to the part with the computer files. For Jack to find files on Phantom, it’s only a matter of time before he could stumble across mention of Fenton. Also... Vlad didn’t think he needed a password in a secret, underground lab? Not even a security system for people other than him and those he permits? Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Vlad had it spelled out, and still Jack doesn’t get it. :O Though, it does make sense that Jack would assume Vlad means his own ghost portal having killed a kid, rather than Jack and Maddie’s having done so. A person usually knows whether or not there was a big accident in their own home.
(mental whistle) Wow, now it truly is spelled out that Phantom is “Danny Fenton”, and with photos, as well (any videos? Or has Vlad never been able to catch that, even visually?).
He still sounds like a good friend, thinking his friend Vlad needed his help.
Jack doesn’t seem as disgusted with Vlad cloning Danny as I would’ve thought (after having seen his reaction to holo-Maddie, I’d have thought stealing members of his family in a more physical way would be worse), but he is showing disgust with killing such clones. Perhaps he’s just in shock over doing such a thing with Danny, and more info keeps coming.
Now it looks like he’s starting to think about Vlad wanting Danny like that. His thoughts seem to speed up, and he stands up.
Aww, mentally referring to the clone as his baby girl is sad and sweet.
Heh, Jack suddenly saying, “He has a hologram of Maddie . . . Your mother!” Sounds like he got to thinking of that hologram again and how much he hates it, and didn’t think of what else he was saying. Though, he obviously wants Danny to know he knows that he’s his son, too.
Hmm... So, even though the proto-portal was smaller, it had more ectoplasm released? ...That might make sense... it might account for the ecto-acne that hadn’t happened to Danny, if there was just too much of it for a human to handle. Plus, their newer portal didn’t have any coke issues, and maybe more safety measures or was more efficient. I hadn’t really thought of it that way before.
I like how Jack still thinks of helping Vlad, after knowing everything. It’ll be nice if he could really help Vlad if he’s gotten obsessed and stuff because of the large amount of ectoplasm.
Well, in the end Jack’s pretty angry with him and tells him not to mess with them. But, I could imagine him and Maddie working on some kind of cure in the meantime. Not sure how easily Jack would forgive him if he does seem ‘back to normal’ later, but it sounds like he’s in a good mindset to know Vlad's dangerous.
It's a nice fic. I like it.

Jack's world got turned upside down but the important thing here is that he finally has his eyes open to who Vlad really is and even more importantly, he is accepting of Danny being a half-ghost and now will welcome Danielle into the family, nicely done!
