Good story. Good flow. Good inclusion of normal characters as well as inclusion of characters and elements that seem to be fan fiction favorites that JKR didn’t use (bones family, Harry’s lordship, and making Dumbledore helpful to Harry instead of condemning him to privot drive).
I caught up to you too fast and now I must wait for more. Woh is me. Thanks for great work and if you need any help let me know but your English and grammar seem good so your writing must be fine or you have an amazing editor.

Interesting story so far, and I'm really looking forward to other little changes you'll make to the original story. Though a change in word style either bold or the more widely used italics for such things as letters and books when people are reading them would make it easier to differentiate from the rest 9f the story. The other thing I'm trying to figure out is what multiple normal relationships means. Is it Harry dating one person and they break up and Harry gets with someone else, is it all essentially friendships, or is it a harem where they fall for Harry naturally?

There are only 4 Weasley's at Hogwarts not 6, Bill and Charlie have already left.

I love your take on the HP series. However, as a teacher I'm disturbed that another would leave a full classroom of students unattended. Especially given that it's their FIRST class. We are given examples in canon that state all spells could be catastrophic if miscast. Surely other students will mess up the first day.

If I'm not mistaken in canon (film) Seamus lit his feather on fire while practicing this spell. Filtwick could have returned to a classroom full of hurt students. After a student is hurt like Harry was you don't leave the room. He even said to the class continue...without supervision (SMH). He should have fetched another(older) student (since there was no tour of the school and 1st years wouldn't have known where the healers office is) or a free teacher to escort Harry to the hospital wing. You can't endanger the entire class like that.

On a separate note...I love that your addressing the (major) abuse issue of the original novels. I wish it was addressed in the actual series. Dumbledore (in my mind) is just as guilty via neglect. How do you not check in on someone their entire life?! Despite everything I'm glad that he isn't evil and is doing something (good) about it. I haven't read your entire story yet but I do love it. I'm sorry I don't have an account here. Otherwise I'd log in. Please don't take this as a flame review. I can't wait to read the rest!
