I loved it. I agree with you that the movie should have touched on Natasha a bit more since she did die. There could have at least been a scene where those like Thor or Tony who weren't very close to her could say stuff. And Clint and Steve.

Your hope came to late. Tears fell from my eyes. Just... Beautiful. I saw this quote at a John Dreamer music video. Roughly:

“Do people die when a bullet reaches their heart?
No, people only die when they are forgotten.”

We shall remember Natasha’s sacrifice.

Later I saw a comment on YouTube saying that everybody cried for Ironman but nobody cried for the girl. Thinking back I remembered when she died there was music, music with sacrifice in it I don’t how to put it in words. I think nobody cried for her except a few because they didn’t have time to dwell on it, they scene immediately changed to Clint, the music changed. But with Tony’s death we had time to cry because there was time. With Natasha’s death things were moving to fast.

Sorry for the long review I just wanted to share my feelings, I thought I was the only one who mourned her death.

The fact that I didn't, couldn't read this in one go should say enough about how emotional I got. At the end of each part my eyes were teary and I just didn't cry for sheer force of will... 'cause I have cried a lot already. I wish there had been a third way, in which neither of them had to die, but... at least I think she deserved so much more as well. *Thank you for this fic*. (As a side note, besides the Avengers themselves, I would like to have seen Fury mourn her as well, especially for when I think of that scene in Winter Soldier when he says he didn't know who he could trust and you see just how hurt she is...)
