I was doing okay reading the other chapters. Sad, but okay. But this one hit me so hard. I could see the scene playing out and let me tell you, it was emotional! I actually had to stop reading for a moment, when she comes in and says "But not us", to gather my thoughts, 'cause for me it was strong...Oh wow. I want this to be canon. I NEED this to be canon. And I have read a lot other fanfics with her coming back, but this one, I felt it... I don't how to explain; I'm probably not making any sense, but yeah. It just makes me sad that Tony wouldn't be there to come up with one of his quips. And old Steve! Her coming to realize who he was would be great! Oh... and Clint... I don't think he would let her out of his sight for even a second. The last sentence was perfect. Nat finally reunited with her family, whom she fought so much for, never let go of - even during those 5 years - sacrificed herself for when there was no more than only faith and trust that it would be worth it, and her ledger clean...

More I think about it, more it makes sense. Soul Stone is a pocket dimension (comic canon) and you could argue she was the first one to get the stone technically, and because the stone was returned, she was able to exit the dimension, which is why it was also empty when Thanos comes later. Just thinking and justifying ;)

Liked it but honestly Natasha should have stayed dead.

I love all these chapters and the way you write the impact of Natasha on everyone’s life. Hope you continue this story!
