Of course, if we were to use Canon Information, then the only actual village council would be Koharu and Homura as Advisors. Danzo was kicked off the council after the Uchiha Massacre in Canon.

By the way, Danzo was the one who released the information on Naruto being the Jinchuuriki, I think it was sometime around the Uchiha Massacre actually. Before that, I think Civilians weren't as bad towards Naruto, but they still saw him as an omen due to his birthday. Hiruzen had nothing to do with releasing that information.

Only mistake I saw this chapter was that you probably called the “Wind” Daimyo the “Fire” Daimyo in error. You should check and fix the instances where they make sense.

I normally don't post reviews, but I just want you to know how much I appreciate By Your Side Is Where I Belong. Ever since 2016 I always end up coming back to read it over and over. Giving myself enough time to forget some of the details, so that I can enjoy it all over again! I've read thousands of fanfics, but this is def in my Top 5.
I love that you took a trait that is one of Zoro's funniest quirks and made a whole plot revolving around it! And having him take care of Naruto and Gaara is just so sweet and I wish it was canon somehow. Just because of how much I love all of them together! I want to do a fanart based off it. Your world building skills are amazing and I really appreciate your lack of grammar mistakes. I have favs that aren't written very well, but I love for the concept. Your story is written well and I'm so happy you are back and expanding on the ninja universe. Excited to read more!
