I have one word for you... CONTINUE! This is an amazing beginning, and I can only imagine the wonderful story you will give us. I love this concept. You are correct, this is very plausible. I would hope that Gibbs would not have reacted so harshly to such news, but it is not out of the realm of possibility, especially when this revelation is coming on the heels of Paraguay. I am looking forward to how this all plays out. How and when will Gibbs come to terms with this news? How will he and Abby bridge the gap that was created by his reaction? How will Gibbs and Kyles's relationship develop as father and son? So many questions that need answers, so it is very clear that this story needs to continue. SO... keep those chapters coming because I, for one, am looking forward to more! ;-)

Great start! I totally agree with you (again!) about Abby's adoption. She finds out she's adopted, some time later she finds out she has a brother. Then nothing since. She didn't even talk about her brother after that season, really. (Same with Ranger Bert - they're hot and heavy for a few episodes, then BOOM, he's never mentioned again, no break-up story or anything. I wondered why Gibbs didn't look him up after Abby had been shot, to make sure he wasn't the one who did it, in case it had been a bad break-up or something. Same with Mikel Mauer after the shooting... But I digress...)

So, to sum it up, PLEASE continue the story!

More! Don't let Gibbs and Abby lose each other! Ironically I just wrote a story with almost exactly the same title but a totally different plot.

Interesting that he didn't know, I bet her mother had a hand in that.
