| Western-Otaku chapter 1 . 6/15 Feel the same here, I love Tom Holland as Spider-Man but at the moment he feels too much like Stark's pet/child superhero that he has to keep tabs on. When I played Spider-Man PS4 I felt he would have been the best template for the Spider-Man I wanted to see in the MCU. Love PS4 Spidey (I've replayed that game at least 5 times at this point including DLCs on highest difficulty and got all the trophies). Wouldn't have been an issue for me if we also got an experienced Spidey in the MCU (I mean, they skipped the origin story because we'd already seen 2 incarnations of Spidey, why not go the full distance like the game did?) Maybe by the 3rd Spider-Man MCU movie we'll finally get it but I feel its irreversible now to not associate Tom's Spidey with Iron Man, and it annoys me a whole generation will grow up thinking Spider-Man is supposed to be mini Iron Man with webs. Took them 2 movies to even acknowledge Spidey Sense. Oh well... |
