When you wrote gatekeeper and keycarriers, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't key bearers. (lol Ghostbusters) I'm glad that you were able to find some inspiration to write again. For some reason, I have a picture in my head of Tony finishing his thing with Killian and A.I.M. and suddenly gate crashing the Hydra operation the rest of the Avengers are having. When everyone asks, he would say, ”I was busy doing some important sh*t!”

This has got to be one of the best things I’ve read in a long long long time! The attention to detail is just orgasmic and I could stop reading, even after 2am lol. I love the character of Jenn and how you’ve gone AU just the right amount of way, I’ve noticed others try to do this and eventually revert back to the original story, but you didn’t I am applauding you because this is just awesome! I really wish this was actually how the marvel universe went, Jenn would be such a bad ass character for little girls and grown adults to admire. I hope you continue, it’s been a while since your last update. Thank you again for such a marvellous story xoxo

This chapter stands out due to grander context of the world than we see in the films;
We see the aftermath of the Chitauri attack and know why the Avengers are a big deal, what the consequences can be if they fail and basically the human cost of the battle of New York which arguably only the Netflix series went into in depth.

Also your whole take on this story so far should have been the actual Avengers 2. I can just imagine the adverts;
“You’ve seen the Avengers fight global terrorism, Nazi’s and space aliens! Now witness the Avengers face the most destructive, immoral and inhuman enemies yet…”
“…LAWYERS!”

Hey, excellent work as always. I am really enjoying this story so far, and I like how you have blended elements of realism into it. I have to ask though, are you changing how the winter soldier was brainwashed? As far as I knew, his was done over time, with drugs and hypnotherapy. As for Jessica, god. I knew she was strong as Spider-woman, but this takes the cake. Is she taking the winter soldier's place as the main antagonist for this arc? Or will they get her back soon, and have to fight Bucky again? Looking forward to the updates!

But... superheroes don't kill villains unless they don't have time to elect otherwise or there isn't any other chance. I mean, I'm not that naïve for think they didn't killed the Chitauri for exemple but I don't know... I've seen the first season of JJ and to kill Kilgrave causes her an important moral conflict. I'm really enjoying your story and the way you write Jen and the other characters, the scenes on the courtroom Law an Order style and the references. I love it. I just wanted to say you the end of this chapter leaved me a bit shocked and confused... but I will keep reading because I'm really enjoying this fanfic
