...so did either Hermione or Daphne offer gifts to each other on their dates? Did Daphne expect or explain these traditions and protocols to Hermione, or did she even expect them to be followed? This seems kind of hypocritical and almost a case of double standards if not.

Interesting and well written. I like your Harry. It's great to see more of Neville too, and I liked how he could help both Harry and Hermione. This isn't a pairing (er, trioing?) that I had considered before, but you make it work for me. I'd like to see where this could go.
