haha, here’s your review! it may have been done a lot, but i love this story and your unique take on it. 10/10

Now I think we never did learn the true fate of Zuko's ostrich-horse we last saw him and Iroh riding it on the fringes of desert fleeing the Rough Rider bandits then Zuko and his uncle arrive at the oasis Aang visited before the barbarians abducted Appa I guess they rode there on the ostrich-horse.

Then they depart hidden in flowerpots to evade thugs hired by Toph's parents to forcibly bring her home but struck out on a tangent to apprehend Zuko and Iroh instead after that they arrive in the walled city of BaSingSe and their mount is never seen again.

Maybe they abandoned it and it was eventually taken by someone at the oasis. Maybe they forgot to go back for it and it stayed, presumably restrained, until it succumbed to heatstroke or dehydration.

I love this! XD

It's a bit too much on the "make Zuko look good" side, but it was still a fun read :D I like how you characterized Song-you gave her substance and some backbone.

Cute story

This is so cute! Honestly, I always preferred Song over Mai and Jin while growing up and watching the series (not anymore, I’ve grown fond of Mai). But this is so cute! I wish it were longer tho, but its a nice short story anyways. Thanks for writing it!
