Free money for the subsequent dates and a lesson not to mess with them to the rest, even if it was for the best of intentions.

Besides, the most successful long term relationships tend to be those that have a strong friendship as a foundation.

Looks will come and go, but personality will be there for your entire mutual trip.

So they have the week to start building that foundation.

And no, I'm not knocking the importance of personal chemistry, that spark has to be there after all.

But too many people place too much emphasis on solely the physical aspect. Sure, it's an important aspect, but it shouldn't be the sole consideration.

One reason why divorce rates are probably as high as they are. A rush, because of the physicality, only to discover they really don't like each other too much or have anything in common.

Well, that or partners straying, because they mistook attraction for falling in love with another. Etc etc. You get the idea.

Based on how the show presented their personalities and personal experience with people quite akin to them..

Well, if she hadn't died, then they would've been one of those couples celebrating their 60th/70th or 80th wedding anniversary, barring outside variables like illness, accidents or foul play.

It's why I'm an Arkos shipper, stuff like that is rare in this day and age. And I'm old-fashioned enough to prefer their way than the generally dysfunctional messes that modern society calls relationships.

Wowee!.! The story that I have been following for a long time has finally been updated!

Ahhh!.!.! Such a fantastic chapter! It satisfies my expectations and more besides. Coz it was exactly as I imagined would happen.
Pyrrha and Jaune finds out about the bet, they confront someone, they're scarred for life, and then they decide to bet as well, obviously going for the lower odds, which is them NOT being together-together. But we all know where this is going... after all, we came here for the Arkos.
