Really dislike this ending, it was pretty childish in my opinion.
My problem with it is that there is absolutely no way Lila would change in any way because she has no reason to. She had basically been told that there would be no bad consequences for her if she continue to lie and cheat so why bother changing ? It's far more convenient and easier to continue to fake it and if she is caught again, so what ? She is going to be given another anyway.
