Another really interesting and evoking piece of writing. I must admit the soulmate prompt didn't dawn on me until midway through the story, but once it did it was great!

I've never read this kind of soulmate!AU before that's more of an anti-soulmate story than a classic one, so it was quite a refreshing change! It was also quite interesting to read that Andromeda wasn't madly in love with Ted, as many people portray her to be.

Rabastan's letters were beautifully written, and tragic. I wish that we could have seen what Andromeda had to say back, even if she never sent those letters.

The ending here was great. I love how Rabastan still remained loyal to Andromeda and hopeful that she might turn around, despite her marrying another man and refusing to accept him for all those years. It's another interesting characterization of a man who is generally perceived to be nothing but terrible.
