I just found this story and I love it! I love MJ and she and Sam are so cute! I want things to work out for them. I’m so anxious for more!

Did you know, I'd COMPLETELY forgotten about Hep-D? It's been so long since I've seen the first season . . . spoiler, there's a Hep-V in the later seasons which was genetically engineered to kill vampires but . . . totally forgot. My god I really need to go back and watch this first season again.

Did Sookie GENUINELY take Bill's side over her own sister's concerns? Oh, yes she did. PERFECT understanding of this character, tbh. In season 1 Sookie was almost completely unreasonable when it came to Bill.

You couldn't talk to her. Couldn't reason with her.

"Death is a strange sensation." I'd imagine it is! And then the realization that everything she might have done, might have been, is just over. Glad she's okay. Of course I knew you wouldn't just kill off your protagonist haha but still.

Bill going off to feed makes perfect sense. How much blood did he give to Sookie and MJ? LOTS. He needs to refill.

"Don't bother asking me about Sookie. You want to know what she's up to you can ask her yourself. Phone's right there." Ohhhhh MJ has sass. I love it.

haha Sorry. That's the one sentence in this whole chapter that REALLY stood out for me. Made me laugh, anyway. :P

MJ seems annoyed. Really liked the negative-image of Sookie's own power here. Sookie hears people's thoughts in her head, just so long as they're near her while MJ needs actual physical contact.

I like the idea of your story! Your MJ is well described and because of the events the first chapter ends very action-packed. Well done :)
But I hope she won't be forced by Bill to drink his blood. Maybe another vampire will come along? One from Shreveport coincidentally... ;)

Got a major shock right at the end, where Denis drove a blade straight into MJs stomach. I mean omg . . . been a long time since I've watched season one. Took me a second to remember . . . Bill's coming. She'll be okay.

I love the whole concept of this OC and the premise of this story. It’s a fresh and unique take on True Blood. It felt like I was watching the show. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
