Man I really like your story and congrats I think you are the first to do a self insert in Rising of The Shield hero. I have a little suggestion though regarding the fantasy swords what about the Blade of Evil's Bane The Master Sword from Legend of Zelda I think that would be really cool. Something else I think would be really cool what about a lightsaber now I know it's different from a sword but a lightsaber is kind of a sword so I think it would work. not too bad. though I hope that meeting the slave trader will be where getting a mount early would be recommended. just saying that having such bonuses after mastering and awakening the weapon in question would help greatly in the passive abilities. looking forward to that and more. hoping that going up in strength will trim the fat off and become more desirable along with the procreation blade. though i'm sure after awakening it would cause any female cut by it to become fertile and very aroused as well. though I'm sure the fertile aspect will be used for the Farmlands to produce bumper crops and lift the famine. looking forward to more. until then, later!

Not sure if a gundam shield would even count but Victory 2 Gundam had an absolutely massive Mega Beam Shield, Heavy Arms has a beam gattling mounted inside the shield, among others gundam featured.

Wendy's Riding board from Lyrical Nanoha Strikers was a Swiss army shield which acted as a surf board with flight capability, a BFG, and yes a shield.

Captain America's shield is a nice OP shield.

Kamen Rider Double has the Bicker Shield used by CycloneJokerExtreme form, it shoots a beam and has a deflector shield mode, and the third power seems to be that it power ups it's partner sword.

Castlevania,Symphony of the Night...do I really need to mention the Alucard Shield and it's OP?unblockable collision ludicrously HIGH damage,heals with every hit,restores stamina, and gives several seconds of invincibility when deployed...

Round Table, the shield of Mash/Mashu in Fate Grand Order, infamous for the world protecting shield technique LORD CAMELOT. Also a very effective battle shield if you watch her in the Babylonian , this shield relies on the users heart...it was able to block Gorgons gaze when even Leonidas shield couldn't, and at its peak, it blocked an attack capable of wiping away 3000 years of human history. If Naofumi were to unlock this shield alone he pretty much is set. Check, it was also the item used by Chaldeas for summoning servants since it functions as the summoning circle...so..yeah...This alone would be a shield for Naofumi to have a massive story change.

Vexens shield from Kingdom Heart Chain of Memories is effectively a punching or stabbing shield thanks to the spikes atop the shield.

In Melty Blood, Riesbyfe Stridberg uses a giant cello shaped shield that's big and sharp enough it doubles as BFS.

Monster Hunter makes ...glorious Shields...they roar and paralyze...and save your life..a lot.
