Awwww :') this chapter is the perfect ending! It's just amazing :')! I love that Logan is getting better :') after all that :')! That he and Veronica are happier than ever and their relationship is also better than ever :'). I feel so proud of them :')! And even Dick is staying married xD! It's unbelievable XD! I love that Heather is here and how she teases Veronica :D! And finally Charlie is there! :') I feel so happy for them :')! For making Veronica be herself, after S3 thought she was all snark and no heart, and the less is said about S4 the better. And of course Logan getting his chance to grow up and mature, to see his worth and to love with all his heart :)! :O! I really didn't see that ending coming! I'm really glad Logan is finally safe, because seriously Gory is just so insane! :S And Dom is an idiot if despite everything he was still helping Gory :S. I love the moment of Badass that Veronica got here, which mirrors Logan's hero moment of the first part of the fic. She gets to seriously beat Gory, and he so deserved it, and rescue Logan as well. I was a bit worried when Lev got there and I hope he see that there's no way Logan, Veronica or Keith had the chance to kill Gory if he was still screaming when he got there. I was really surprised it was Apollo the one to do it. And while the world is so much better without Gory, I hope this doesn't have consequences xD, well I think it won't since I'm almost at the end XD! Woah, what a chapter xD! I was so worried and tense and just super stressed XD and finally I'm relaxed now that they have Logan back :)! Excellent chapter xD! I can't believe I only have a chapter left to read :)! Really great fic :D!

Finally they realized Logan is missing! And all thanks to Heather :'(! I just want them to find him soon :'(! Poor Logan :'(! But also WOAH! Veronica went supernova as soon as she realized what happened. And I'm so happy Mac and Max had her back, because woah! But Dom deserved it. Also I love that she really finally talk to Weevil about his long time grudge against Logan. And that she even went again to Jake's. She was so ready to take him down, but it turns out that Gory is just the most stupid guy on the Castle, since he clearly didn't do as he had been told by the head of that organization -.-.

I'll so need to keep reading because I just want them to find Logan quickly :(. I can't believe gory beat him with a belt. I hate him so much :'(!

AHHHH! I'm freaking out D:! They haven't noticed Logan is missing D:! Veronica thinks it was Dick! And he left! x.x! And while I love that Logan gets to hit Gory and that he is also insulting him and proving he's not afraid, Gory is crazy! His plan is full of holes but he is unhinged! x.x! I just hope they find out soon! x.x!

Also I'm not shocked that Parker and Piz hooked up xD, and it's funny they keep getting their roommates looked out of their rooms xD!

And it's nice that Apollo is thanking Veronica for what she did :). Ahhhh but since I'm still worried for Logan I need to keep reading to find out xD!

Oh this chapter! XD the first scene with Piz and Wallace and Apollo is just funny XD. It's hilarious how Apollo really didn't see a thing between Piz and Veronica, because, well really xD, she had more chemistry with her car than with Piz XD. And I love that Piz is Logan's number 1 fangirl :). A very well deserved fate for him XD.

Now I love the next scene with Logan and Veronica :), I just love when they get to talk. And Veronica really picked a great way to find out how he knew so fast where she was xD! I mean, he really couldn't stop himself from telling her. I love how he mentions he wouldn't change her past, and Veronica wouldn't change his either. :') and he doesn't want her to leave! It's just so cute :'). Here I find it cute also how Veronica doesn't want anyone to know what they have been doing, but she had her shirt inside out xD. They are so adorable and Keith so approves (because he just knows or will probably realize too what they were doing as soon as he sees V considering he is getting Logan's messages XD).

Also I love that you restored Parker's and Veronica's friendship! It was a fricken shame that canon went ahead and ruined the only other female friendship that Veronica had! And by doing the exact same thing they did with Meg and Duncan! It's like the stupid writers just don't want to write female friends and can't think of another way to end their friendships except by a man getting in their way! Ugh I seriously hate Rob Thomas. XD But I love that you gave the middle finger to that stupid canon and found a way to make them friends again :). Thank you so much for that! And I love that Parker played along to make fun of Madison :).

And now for the panicky moment of the chapter! OMG D:! Gory took Logan D:! I hope Ratner saw, because while I'm sure Veronica will know something is wrong when she gets that message (like seriously Gory, do you think you can imitate the way someone texts and not alert the friends an family with an OOC message? It would have been wiser to say nothing), I just don't know how she will find him soon :c! I'm worried for him!

This was so great. I read the second part of this first, twice, then happened on this by accident and realized a chapter in what I was reading and was SO excited!

Oh this chapter is really nice xD! I like that Leo is having a sort of crisis of conscience due to the hero status being given to him when he didn't do a thing. I'll say it once, your Leo has a soul, and I like him. The Leo in canon? Particularly after S4, can go and f*ck himself. He is a despicable character, always going after Veronica despite her rejecting him 3 times and always for Logan and being in a relationship. He is the absolute worst, so I didn't think I could like this Leo, but he is actually likable, so kudos to you for taking a terribly written self-insert for Rob Thomas and giving him a personality and likable traits that don't make a weird stalker still crushing on the girl he dated when she was 17 :). Ok, you can see I still don't like Leo, but the one you wrote is fine xD.

Rant aside, I love seeing finally the gang together :). And how much they don't have a clue of what's going on XD! Also Piz fangirling of Logan is the best :). Another boring and entitled sel-insert of Rob Thomas being turned into a way better character :). And he totally has a crush on Logan too xD, too bad he only has eyes for Veronica XD.

I like that Leo had to ask Logan for, basically, permission to take all the credit :). Again it's nice to see that this character is not just trying to step in and take something from Logan like in canon :). I also REALLY like that for once the press won't harass Logan and Veronica with this. And your Vinnie being smarter than Lamb and knowing how to play this to his best interest is also so much better than just rehashing Lamb 2.0 :).

I like that Logan finally got tired of Dick's comments, but also that Veronica understands where he is coming from and how much he cares about Logan. The moment could have gone wrong easily, but Veronica knows she has hurt Logan and knows why Dick said this. She knows he just wants Logan to be happy :).

Finally, the last part of the chapter is interesting to me XD, with the guys going all together and Veronica and Mac FINALLY catching up :D! It's nice that they are all getting along :). Also the moment between Leo and Piz XD, I laughed so much, and thought that it wouldn't be impossible here for them to get together due to their shared love for Logan xD! Now talk about a twist from canon xD, instead of two creepy self-inserts eternally obsessed with Veronica

Oh wow! So much happened! XD First of all, I was really tense during the whole part with Veronica trapped! While I'm glad that Logan and Keith arrived so soon to the cabin, I was so desperate for them to rescue Veronica! And it got so intense fast ! Also I want to point out how OBVIOUS it was that Logan wouldn't wait by the car XD! Seriously Keith, this is the soulmate of your own daughter XD, you should have known better XD! But I'm glad that Logan didn't wait, because it was getting awful with Liam there :S! And when he tried to runaway through the tunnel I was in panic D:! I feared he was taking her somewhere far away x.x! I'm really glad, again, Logan went after them and that he killed Liam.

Also I love that Logan and Veronica finally talked again xD! And that they are back together again! XD also how Logan is all in charge now since he is better at relationships xD! That I can't wait to see how it goes :)! And so much has happened that Mac is not aware of anything that Veronica has been up to and Veronica also doesn't know anything either XD! But it's nice that Mac is happy that her business partner and her friend are happy :D.

And I love how long it took for Dick to finally realize that LoVe is together again XD! And it's really unexpected that he has been faithful to Melinda all this time! I'm shocked! Also shocked that he... wants to stay married :O?! not shocked that he hadn't realize that he too has a long second toe XD!

Again, I really love this fic :D! It really deserves its long lasting popularity in the VM fandom XD!

Oh wow this chapter! So many things I really didn't expect D:! I mean the beginning with Veronica making amends and looking for ways to protect Logan and give him something he really wanted is really sweet. I like her conversation with Jake to deal with Gory, how she manages to get to him. It's a real shame S3 (or really canon) never even tried to explore the relationship between the remaining Kane and Logan. Logan really looked up to him, he really cared what Jake thought, and maybe it was misplaced since Jake seemed to want to be seen as the cool dad and Aaron just completely sucked (and the last alternative was Keith, and with Logan's problem with authority I can really see why a young teen Logan wouldn't pick him). It's really great to see a bit more of Jake and that he isn't a complete emotionless jerk.

Also, my favorite really is the conversation between Veronica and Charlie (another character tied to Logan completely forgotten by canon -.-). I like that she's able t make Charlie see just what life has been for Logan, that they both were played and it would be a shame to reject the family left due to a misunderstanding. Though I laughed at the dig at Logan's voicemails going unheard since he tends to kind explode into them and then try to apologize when any person would really just delete his number XD!

Also I love the tiny bit of friendship between Mac and Logan and that their website is going well XD. I really don't know if it would have had the lasting power of, let's say Facebook, but at least it would have had a pretty strong start xD! Then again, I might just be giving to much credit to... humanity. But it's nice that this sort of helped Logan to get a better grade. I mean, I get why his teacher would think Logan was just making fun of the whole assignment, but if it works, it works xD!

An all was going great till Liam Fitzpatrick attacked! What?! I really didn't expected this D:! :/ and now I'm kind of worried for Veronica :c. I didn't expected that Logan had someone following her, and that he also tracked her phone, but it's great that Keith also was tracking her, and that for the first time VVL is not a total jerk and he also had trackers on the Fitzpatricks. I just really hope they find her soon since Liam is being a creep x.x! I mean, Veronica is trying to defend herself, I guess, but I'm worried... there seemed to be a lot of goons there :/, she needs backup.

And for last... well Logan accidentally revealed a big truth there... I'm guessing there's gonna be a big conversation once Veronica is safe :S.

I had heard so much from this fic, yet I never had the chance to actually read it :O. And since the discord vm ff club is hosting the re-read I hope I can finally read a bit of the story now :).

First of all I'm glad that Piz realized so quickly that he wasn't the one for Veronica XD. That was pleasantly surprising. Also Leo being a not total sleaze is very refreshing too. Considering the events of the past year, needless to say I'm way less forgiving of these two characters, but this fic makes me not hate them so much and that's quite the achievement XD.

I love the conversation between Logan and Veronica! It's great that Logan is defending himself and breaking out of the cycle of making up and breaking up for really minor things. I'm also glad he mentioned that despite being utterly awful, Madison is pretty much the only person not to blame about what happened to Veronica. It's perfectly fine to hate her, but to blame her and act as if she was the sole reason for the rape is not right at all :/.

I also appreciate that Logan finally pointed out Veronica's hypocrisy. How lying and hiding the truth for her and Mac and Wallace and Keith is fine, but if Logan does it, he's the worst in her book. And What I like is that Veronica listened. Despite her... characterization in S3 (and perhaps in S2) being not the best and sometimes forgetting that she makes mistakes too, it's nice that Veronica here realizes that she has not been the best girlfriend either, and her way of handling her relationship with Logan was also not healthy (for either of them).

It's also great that when she really talks with Keith, Keith listens and actually acts as a parent trying to guide his daughter and not just mindlessly taking her side. Also I really like that he likes Logan and is not just biased against him and has seen his growth :). I really never thought that Veronica kept Logan apart from Keith just so her dad wouldn't find out they were sleeping together XD. I mean, in that scene yes, but I also thought she was afraid Logan would be his snarky, authority defying self and that he would make Keith mad. Thinking about the first, it makes sense that Veronica was trying to keep them apart, in order to make Keith not suspect them. Since obviously, this would be ridiculous to believe to anyone who sees them together for just a short while.

All in all, a great first chapter from a classic VM fic :). I really want to know more, and I'll try (a bit slowly but surely) to finish this very-well known fic in this fandom :). I really like it :)!

AWESOME STORY!

I was so glad to see growth in both Logan and Veronica in that 3rd season ending. Veronica, when faced with losing what she really wants most in the world finally got a clue and realized she needed to let her guard down and open up a bit.

Logan having to tell Keith about V's rape was tense and so long overdue. The honestly between the two men was so good to see. Yes, there is quite a bit of similarity between the two, so no wonder they're the two people V loves best.

Great rescue of V, all characters involved! Traumatic rescue of Logan, and I hated, absolutely hated that he was beaten in the same manner as Aaron had most of his young life. Hated reading that. Which made the surprise appearance of Apollo so very sweet! He was a child soldier and still has a few skills retained to use when dealing with his friends. I absolutely loved his ending of Gory; I'm blood thirsty that way.

My biggest question is: will Melinda and Dick stay married for long? Lol. Heather, although not seen much in the show, still had huge impact. I loved that it was her that got the word out that Logan was missing.

Piz and Parker?! Made me wonder just how much those two "loved" their previous partners given how quickly they got together. We understand Logan and Veronica. Piz and Parker so fast, though? That made me sort of nauseous just because they were never favorites of mine. I guess that maybe they're perfect for one another, then! I did have to laugh at Piz's new man crush on Logan. When all was said and done, Piz was really a big fan-boy, which could never work with a person like Veronica.

Mad Mac and Max! They were great in this fic, their characters used so well. Given time Mac just might get used to the whole "criminal" element. Max sure revels in it!

What I liked most about this fic, though, was Veronica using her powers for good, and for her own good. Getting to Jake, both times, her handling of Dom, her fury and dressing down of Weevil. Her loyalties were clear, and I loved seeing it. Even defying her father, though it was unnecessary. Keith saw far more than she would have thought, but it was even better seeing him "see" Logan.

Tremendous story, even Ratner! I see a sequel, I believe. That will be my next read. :)

This fic was a complete delight! I loved the balance of suspense, romance and friendship. It was emotionally satisfying and character appropriate, and I love how VERONICA got the redemption arc she very much needed. I loved how you balanced vulnerability with badassery and showed how deeply they cared about each other without going saccharine or sentimental. The banter was A and the pacing was impeccable. I deeply enjoyed how you set up each rescue for the maximum possible effect, with great symbolism like the going into the underworld tunnel and headlight bashing. I love that Logan didn't at all feel bad for shooting Liam. I love Jeff Ratner as a character the way you imagine him. I got a lot of enjoyment out of Logan and Keith's relationship in this one.

I can't imagine a better fic and this goes down as one of my all time favorites. Thanks so much for writing and sharing!

Veronica's rescue was th height of fun and vindication! Interesting twist with Apollo. It was so awesome when she bashed the headlights and Logan laughed.

Seeing Veronica stand up to Weevil for Logan was immensely satisfying. I love that Heather got involved, and the last scene with Logan was heartbreaking. Fantastic tension and pacing.
