Please updated! I loved this. You can do so much with this.
foolofatook001 chapter 1 . 4/21
You started off strong with the Hamilton lyric and only went uphill from there. I find your take on Ben's redemption an interesting one - and I must say, I always love when Biblical parallels can be found in places where one would not necessarily think to look for them. I think the choice for Poe as the "older son" in this story is fitting, considering how much he clearly looks up to and admires Leia.

I also did go and find your article, and the timing was perfect, as I'd just finished reading St. Augustine's Confessions for school and it was very fresh in my mind. The parallels are strong in that as well.
This was an all-around well-thought-out-story and I enjoyed it very much.
Keep up the good work!

Dream Plane chapter 1 . 1/3
I noticed the ties to the parables in this fic. It's so sweet, and your portrayal of everyone is in character. Your comparison of Kylo to St. Augustine is fascinating; I never made that connection, but I can see where you're coming from.

i'd ditch the resistance and go to the farthest corner of the galaxy to get away from them, if they accepted and started sucking up to the space hitler who brutally violated my mind. Poe would absolutely be justified in his feelings
SharKohen chapter 1 . 8/28/2019
Interesting story, but unlikely to be one will get to see in the story, giving how jam pack the movie will be even at two hours plus. Quite intriguing to think about it, and how it different or similar it is present in the original parable.

Sorry but the rest of resistance would not have be welcoming to a war criminal and dictator regardless of his mother is. Btw whatever Poe’s supposed crimes, born of desperation and the responsibilities don’t lie solely with him, Kylo Ren MUCH more heinous one FAR outsells his.
