Weird idea, just make it her Zanpakuto, we never see it in the series so you could make it into anything, and oddly enough, it might sorta make sense given her abilities. One of Yoruichi’s signature techniques is combining Kido with Hand to Hand combat, and what is the Rebellion’s true power according to DMC 5? The ability to bring together man and devil. Heck that could easily be the reason why she doesn’t use it all that often. Hell seems to be something that Soul Society generally seems to not want to talk about (probably because they don’t really seem to have any level of control over it), so a Zanpakuto that uses powers that at the very least seem to be connected to Hell might be something you don’t want to use, especially if you’re part of a well known family who have a reputation to consider. Taken what we’ve seen of how Soul Society is run, especially when it comes to weird and or dangerous Zanpakuto, she might very well have been forbidden to use it, and perhaps even had the sword taken away by Central 46. But she can still take principles of her Zanpakuto (or maybe it’s something her spirit taught her) and apply it elsewhere, which led to her developing Shunko. Secondly, a lot of Zanpakuto spirits have very similar personalities to their Soul Reaper, and assuming Rebellion’s spirit would be Dante, well, it just kinda fits. Also incorporating it like that, Rebellion as a Zanpakuto with connections to Hell, would let you explore an aspect of the series that wasn’t really explored much in canon (unless you count Hell Verse, and even then that’s one movie to explore the fact that Hell exists in this universe and is a completely independent entity with seemingly zero oversight by anyone, and that’s not even touching the fact that said movie isn’t canon as far as I know). Maybe over the course of her time in Soul Society, she could use the opportunity to go and grab it from where ever it’s been locked up.

Dam. Beowulf seems more like Yoruichi's style. See has the legs for it. Plus I don't think she uses swords.

Wouldn't it make more sense to give her Alastor over rebellion given her affinity for lightning and speed?

I don't see Hime being a gun totting bad ass in a short skirt or lugging around the force edge in leathers, maybe twin daggers like Lucia perhaps or give her Gilgamesh or Beowulf.

I think that Yoruichi should get Rebellion.

Orihime, either that or a power boost so she can actually use her overpowered bullshit reality warping in a fight, because a person who can literally erase an event from having ever happened has no place being that useless for an entire series. Also maybe just give Yoruichi a Zanpakuto, they never explain why we never see hers in the series, and she was a captain so we know she has to have one.

Yoruichi should get since she doesn't really have a sword.
