Nice with the honeymoon and introduction to the further efforts being made to fortify Sol, and I'm glad to hear that the Exterminatus is finally here. It's a crime as worse as the pathetic Alterans, to let such a cancer continue to exist and possibly down the road lead to bad things among the Colonials and Cylons. After-all, if the First Cylon War created someone like Admiral Helena Cain. I shudder to hear about any possible such people emerging yet again.

Lol, Ba'al honestly thought that just because they let him get away with other stuff (immoral as it is and dangerously like the Others attitude) that they would let him mess with the fabric of time and space. Someone clearly hasn't gotten the hint that if the Gate system itself was hard-coded to avoid that kind of attempt, they must have had reasons and a way to stop any such manipulation. Then again, I was expecting him to do one of his occasional and usually insultingly stupid schemes that remind us of his being a Goa'uld (a race with occasions of arrogance that border on stupidity at times).

Interesting little side story that doesn't directly involve the wars and such. Plus, we get to see those worms from the Trust taken out, and it sounds like thankfully they weren't infected by the Goa'uld like they outright were in canon. Then again, considering that Goa'uld such as Athena have been shown to be residing and taking positions in the Remnant led by Ba'al, it would mean that they had no reason or the desperation to resort to the infiltration of the Trust plot.
