The way the vessel was acting from the corruption was must like how the infected bugs acted because of the moth god.

I don't mind Ghost losing some of his powers if it means of others get to stand out among their 'brothers'

Ghost isn't going to give away any of his other unique powers is he? Because then it's just depowering him slowly and that gives me the feeling of building up to a dramatic clash where Ghost can't win anymore because he gave everything away.

Yo!~ Student here!~ Nicely done to my recommended OC Vessel, Now Gem(the Crystal Guardian Vessel) ability increase by elements(I can think it can do Hard light barrier too). As for Shadow, it sad that Vessel can't get Grimm ability(just temp), it would be nice to have a beast like Vessel(maybe a Charm is a solution to help Shadow to possess Grimm ability without the corruption). Now there are four unique vessel which can be a Team at Beacon Academy(Team GGHS for Ghost) if they get excepted by the academy and society first(With there looks I think they'll have second thoughts of being friendly to them). Can't wait the next battle against a giant Grimm Worm(back to the underground battle). Before I saying my good bye line, can you give a specific description what Shadow and Gem look like?(Do Shadow have two horns on each side, and Gem Horns is a spiral drill for example to imagine the different been the another vessel).

It's great to see stories that break the common line. Always in the beginning knowing the RWBY team first after history.

I see Ghost having trouble with its Benevolence back there, but figuring out, I can think of its "Semblance" as Either Aura Siphoning or Soul Siphoning, both could work since Aura is a Soul Projection as 2nd skin. The Fic is getting interesting with the Pale VesselsTribe name?) interactions with other Soul-bearing creatures, given how curious each one can be, most especially Ghost. Almost like I can imagine them interacting with a certain Crow or a Wandering Zwei. Is it possible for Ghost to take essence with the Grimm's void? Will Salem try to make her move with the tribe? I'll see to it for now. Keep on writing, have a follow

The grimm are made from liquid hate for creation, so I don't think the vessels should be touching that goop.

Yo!~ Student here!~ Sorry about the name(since i didn't check properly that it also a name of a tragic event in WW2), I need double check it before naming a character, again I apologize about it. Now to the review! Well a part of the chapter remind me the animated Video of a stand up comedy special of Hollow Knight about School drunk party, and what the one thing that not suppose to disappear in a party(The one thing Hollow knight at youtube). Well it hilarious when THOSE drunks are the one saw the little Ghost, and nobody believe them(lol!). Okay serious part why does the dream nail dangerous to the soul of others? Well it does absorb 33 soul, but it doesn't give serious damage since the dream nail only want is Essence(dream essence in specific). Well Dream Nail a Grimm is bad idea unless there like the Grimm Troupe, which lead to the next question how different the Grimm Troupe to the Creature of Grimm? Well I ask some Hollow Knight fic writer about it(wonder when there next update sigh) and theories that the Grimm Troupe are somewhat a close relative to the God of Darkness(you know the Grimm God Brothers on Volume 6 RWBY), and there role in Remnant is to absorb the negativity of ruin kingdoms if only they were summon for it(I guess that why they are a Circus troupe), unlike the Creature of Grimm they search and destroy life with the most negative emotion. Anyway I think the involvement of Grimm Troupe in this fic will be made far on the future. For I want to see how Qrow(that foreshadowing drunken black bird) react seeing a group of non grimm like creature(the Vessels), and How to explain them to Ozpin. I'm looking forward next encounter.
