So now the succession issue with Eddard has been resolved twice over. Though the latter part he could doubtless have done without.

Tywin might now become amenable to Eddard and Cersei marrying. Though I think he will patiently wait a bit longer to see if the rebellion starts winning the war. Then he will move to secure the favor of the victor and gain a prominent position for his family. Or that's what I would see him doing.

Were that marriage to go through though... we might end up with a Lannister-Stark alliance down the line. That would be the weirdest thing ever, and I think I adore the notion of it.

Rough situations all around. I pity them for lives lost and ruined.

If only they could have left a few days ago, even more than canon Brandon did not deserve what happened and Rickard definitely did not either. I can see Rhaegar's Rebellion will happen very soon. I wonder if Aerys will send Rhaegar a letter ordering him to kill Lyanna like he sent Jon one ordering Ned and Robert killed. I would love to see Aerys tell Jon that he is ordering Rhaegar executed and it would be all on Jon. He thinks he won with the death his the Starks but his life would be crashing in on him.
I hope Aerys, Jon, the pyromancers, and Jonothor are all burned alive. Especially Aerys, Jaime's blade is too quick for him.
That "not from him" needs to go from the Kingsguard Oath.

So JonCon has turned at least the North and the Vale against them what with publicly killing one Lord and announcing his role in the assassination of another; unless Roberts completely OP I doubt he'll side with Aerys, especially since it would gain him nothing but Lyanna dead. I'm pretty sure the stupidest thing about him is his determination to burn bridges with out creating or securing any other allianceshe'll be unwilling to let Rhaegar marry anyone "unworthyaka not him) but he just assumes other lords will stay loyal and willing to die for his cause. Rooses power bid will probably have to be put on hold, since if he doesn't react, tries to seize advantage of sides with the king the other lords will view him as a southern-sympathizing traitor and he'll never be secure. Sad to see what's being done to Viserys, since I highly doubt any form of therapy can fix the trauma and daddy issues now.

So, it's gonna be known as "Rhaegar's Rebellion" instead of "Robert's Rebellion"...am I right?

That went more or less exactly how I thought it would. The only thing bringing me comfort is the thought of all the people bearing down on Aerys now. The only ally he’s going to have is Robert (the Tyrells are effectively worthless, and something tells me the ones that aren’t are going to side with Rhaegar along with Olenna). I am eager to see Tywin fighting on the side of the angels for once, even if it is for entirely selfish reasons.

I also look forward to Varys informing Rhaegar of Connington’s betrayal.

Really, the deaths of Brandon and Rickard were horrible to read...But Rhaella getting rapped was the worst thing so far in this. Rape is such a vile thing that makes my blood boil so much. Horrible. And to think book Dany might find out this...

Just saw a reviwer bellow saying all House Targaryen's members deserved to die in canon and here in your fanfic just because of Aerys? Like, no? The Targaryen children don't deserve It? They are innocent. They didn't do anything. Who cares if they are Targaryen. Can't belive some people justify this as if all Targaryens were like Aerys. NO. The murder of children is unnaceptable. Robert was NOT justified in wanting Aegon, Rhaenys, Viserys and Dany killed. And I hope this fanfic won't follow this brutallity. They do not deserve death.
