I hope that soon Zenitsu will understand that he is no coward. Yes, he is a crybaby and alarmist with anxiety, but even this does not make him a coward. A coward is not one who fears, but one who allows this fear to control themselves.
And Zenitsu proved the opposite by deed: because despite all his nagging and confidence in his own worthlessness and inability to be good at anything, he went to the final selection (turns out he went there to die - to respect this way all efforts that his Gramps spent on him), and then on missions (without, and then with Tanjiro and Inosuke. All for the same reasons).

It seems strange to me, that Zenitsu was able to hear his own sound so well. There are quite specific physiological (for example, the structure of the inner and outer ear and facial and jaw bones - that distorting a person’s perception of his own voice) and psychological (self-perception, self-esteem, etc.) reasons why people for the most part are not able to adequately hear (or smell) themselves. The sounds of your own body are so mundane that they become only a backdrop for everyday activities.

Suddenly it dawned on me that I was unsettled me about Shoichi's comparison at the end of chapter five: he compared Zenitsu with other demons, but he only met other demons now (that is, his total experience is equal to three demons - not counting Nezuko, since he did not know about her). It would be more logical if he compared Zenitsu with other people. And more weighty. Because Shoichi probably already knows that there are people no better than demons (and even worse).

Of the myriad of read stories, your the only one so far where Tanjiro’s words to Inosuka were not directly interpreted as manipulations of any kind. He really said what he thought and meant it, without any other goals (this is the canon. Zenitsu heard the sincerity of his words and therefore looked at these two like he did). So thanks.

Whatever whoever says, but I like canon pairings (and don’t know how some people did not see this coming). I especially like the lack of soap opera development of these relations in the canon: just nice hints here and there. Perfect.
I don’t know if you plan to keep the canon pairs, but so far you manage well conveying the spirit of interaction between the characters (between all of them - the good old bromance is just that the fandom is so lacking right now). Really really great!

This creepy four-eyed demon either just intimidated or became carried away and forgot that the only ways for demons to die are by cutting off their head with a blade of nichirin, from the sun, from wisteria poison and by the will of Muzan (well, or saying his name and becoming a victim of this special curse). All other wounds will recover sooner or later (no matter how slooowly and painfully this happens).

P.S. In addition, becoming a demon was supposed to aggravate all of Agatsuma's feelings. Surely he is experiencing some stress from sensory overload, being in a crowded, noisy and fragrant city... Poor Zenitsu and his ears: probably now he not needs to make an effort to hear someone's thoughts, but quite opposide - not to hear the others' thoughts. For the privacy. And for his own peace of mind.

I did not understand what exactly prevented Zenitsu from completing his work? Can it be because he be so much starving and losing blood at the same time?
Since this is AU, I will not find fault with the fact that his Kasugai was a crow, just like the others. But Ukogi is "he" and not "she"! He has a male’s coloring.

had a really bad case of butterflies in my stomach cos of how excited i was when i saw a notification in my inbox for this XD owwww hahaha so throughout reading this whole chapter i was like shaking and my heart was beating really fast. Just shows how much i love this so thank you so much for the chapter! Wonder what Rui had planned for Zenitsu? o.o is that why he singled him out? or not?

Awww Inosuke does care *wipes tears* I'm glad for Zenitsu having another person on his side TT all these cinnamon rolls need all the love they can get and i feel like crying for them all ahhhhhhh
And Chuntaro! Good job! You're such a good bird D: ahhhh you're making me love all the characters with your writing and my heart can't take all this cuteness... help. I always love your omakes at the end too, giving us a different POV in the same situation.

Yeah this whole situation with covid19 sucks... I hope everything is fine for you and that you're staying safe! It's okay, please don't worry about forcing yourself to write or even feeling apologetic for not updating on time or anything like that. You have things to sort out IRL too so I'm sure a lot of readers understand. And if anyone does make you feel bad for it, I'll get angry at them for you!
