God I love this story so much. The brutal efficiency in which you write Carl's internal thoughts is just sublime. Sherry is heartbreaking but pulling a Sasha on Neegan will be a crazy addition to an already bonkers siege. And hey! Bright side, we got some Sophia! Yeah I'm mildly depressed after all that too. I eagerly await the next installment of Carl's Badass Adventures.

I just came to say that this story is amazing! Read it in one single day up to the latest chapter and it left me wanting more. I can't wait for the next chapter. Things are gonna get crazy! Keep up the good work!

This story is amazing and it would make a good comic.

Hoho, fucking CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. It never fails to make me smile, especially anit-hero redemption arcs. Its a damn shame this story doesn't get more attention, Carl's character progression here is one of the best handled plot lines I've encountered in some time throughout many different Fandoms.

Anyway, the addition of the trinity guys (I forget the name and am too lazy to search them) this early is certain to add some spice to an already unique all-out-war. And I'm really craving some more interactions with Sophia. She is such a neglected character in most fics and your take on her here is the most unique I've found. Not to mention her conversations with Carl are always damn interesting. Either way I'm loving this and cannot wait for the next installment.

Ngl, I was in tears when Carl kneeled and offered himself up. That was huge. He didn't know if grandma was going to pull that trigger, but he was ready for it regardless. Poor Rick was beside himself. He just got his son back and now he may lose him again in the end.

I like the idea of a trial, which is what I thought they should have done with Negan on the show. All the communities could have weighed in and voted for what happened to him. That way it wouldn't have just been Rick and Michonne's decision and they would have gotten less pushback from people like Maggie and Daryl because everyone would have had a say and the majority ruled to kill him or lock him up. The New World restoring law and order. A missed opportunity if you ask me.

And I loved the twist where it was Michonne fighting Winslow and knowing that Jadis and her people couldn't be trusted and to leave them out of it. Michonne is queen, lol! Rick is so soft with her, I love it!

Shane seeing Judith was kind of sad, but Rick is her dad is what she knows, and that's not changing. Rick will take anyone out that tries to hurt her. That's his daughter.

The helicopter showing up? Interesting. Are they going to fight with them as well or cause a problem?

Carl is dealing with a lot of conflicted emotions, but I think that now that he's actually feeling instead of burying it away that it's the beginning of him being the man that he is meant to be. And I think he will be able to have a life, maybe even with Sophia down the road.

This is going to be an epic battle. I can't wait to see the shock on Negan's face.

Cool stuff. Wonder when the big reveal will go down. There is only so long it can go on before Rick recognizes his son.

He killed Siddiq! I didn't think he'd kill him. I was like, oh, yeah, it's Siddiq, and then, bam, he was gone. Rick is shaken because it is one thing to kill to protect or defend yourself or others, but that was something else. I think Rick is right that Carl is scared and maybe is unconsciously trying to sabotage things to keep himself from being hurt down the road. It's all too good to be true to him that they're all going to make it out alive and live happily ever after.

So it looks like Shane and Siddiq will have an effect down the line on Rick and Carl. A cannon? Yeeesss! I'm ready to see some Saviors blown away by a cannon. Can't wait to see Negan's reaction. He definitely won't be expecting that.

Shane really is a porch dick:( He's lucky Rick didn't knock him the hell out. Rick definitely upgraded in both wife and best friend departments, so he can go kick rocks.

I know a whole lot of stuff happened in this chapter, but Rick and Michonne - Yes! My heart burst and I was smiling right along with Carl. Carl and Rick's walk - heart wrenching. They still love each other and are so much alike in that they carry the weight of the world on their shoulders and blame themselves for some things that aren't even their burden to bear. Each think that they've done unforgivable things, but they can come back.

So Shane pulled a Richard in order to start the war? Oh, Shane:( I'm sure that's going to come back into play in some way.

I read on my computer and my phone if I'm not home or away from my computer. I'd rather read it on my computer because it's more spread out and I don't feel like I'm straining to read it on the much smaller screen of my phone.

God this story really has me hooked. I love all the twists. I like to read fanfics on my tablet, handheld and small, but not too small like my phone. I don't like the way it looks on the computer. I write using google docs too!

I don't usually read AU's, just not really my thing. But wow this is different and so well done so far. It's an original idea and the way you have it laid out is intriguing and fresh. I want to see where this goes
