Yes! this is my kind of Hermione; vicious to bitches who threaten her family! The kids are simply adorable, I don't know why, but I find Harry very funny in this. This is going on my favs for sure.

I liked Hermione's surprisingly... vicious... protective streak. In a place like the Wizarding world, where monsters walk free if their blood is "pure", it's justified.

Umm, yeah... hmm. This is rather blunt.

This is superior! I love it.
1. I like Hermione’s back story. I also like what we know of Harry’s story too. You gave us just enough for the story with no slop.
2. Good description of Hermione vs Magical society. Love that the main exception was Neville and especially Luna whose in full seer mode.
3. Finding Lily is in the best ‘intentional happenstance’ tradition.
4. I’m not a fan of the soul bond trope. But what you did was quirky enough to work for me. It’s clear even then that Hermione, if not dominant, is the driving force in the bond.
5. I love the way you handled Rita, particularly at the end.
6. The Lady Potter Society meeting was luscious. As was the the offensive against the Coven.

Obviously a Favorite.
