As much as I enjoy reading reaction fics centered around Jaune, this is a breath of fresh air IMO. You should relearn this word called: IGNORE. That way you're free to write and post whatever you like; haters gonna hate.

Even though there may never be another chapter, just know that I enjoyed reading this.

I dont know why people are upset, this is just a little tongue in cheek fun, or if not that, a satire fic. Coming from someone who likes these stupid reaction fics, it really is just RWBY reacting to other franchises.

If people get offended by what is obviously a joke, then thats their problem.

No you're right, as much I like our accidental protagonist, I think most of these fic are unoriginal or boring, but there's a few hidden gems like the Jaune theater for example

You know I once thought of making a Jaune centered react story that was meant to critique other react give and their tropes and try to connect it as a omniverse. Long story short life and Rick&Morty sunk that Idea along with the mass amount these react fics ,plus I'm not a great writer to begin with.
You said most of my complaints of these fics, but my biggest gripe is how uncreative most of them are. I mean if any person found out their are multiple gods, that youre nothing but a spec on the universe which is a spec in the omniverse, and infinite Verizon's of your self many being way better than you. Its amazing none of the characters face exential dread.
But I digress, this one shot has made me consider on doing an idea I've had on the back burner. A guide of sorts to writing (Jaune) multiverse react fics. It focus on the do an donts of writers that done these stories.
If anyone is interested in this P.M me and I'll compose and send to you a survey template with questions regarding these types of fics, so that I can get feed back.

I'll be a damn lier if I say I didn't saw this kind of one-shot coming a miles away.
I personally like to read reaction fic. It is, by all means, explore around the thought of "what if" scenario. We writers explore around the character we like & love.
After all, a "what if" scenario is something that could turn out very interesting and beautiful. It is the core reason why fanfiction exists.
But true to the reality, in my personal following react fic. I have followed over... 20 fic. In which all of them are good, but one point: focus around Jaune. (Dang boi aren't you a popular one.)
Which is something I starting to find myself able to easily predict? 0_0
Hench this is pretty much the very reason why I was doing my own react fic an X-over. AKA, no alternate timeline, no multiverse. Just purely react to other series, learning new things new life. (Which I really hope there were more people writing it.)
I don't welcome this kind of voice, but I also don't dislike this kind of voice either.
It is, after all, a reflection of the reality we are currently in. A voice to tell us that we might need to do something, NOT STOPPING this kind of fic, mind you very much. It means we might need to re-think about the reason why we want to see a reaction fic.
Why, What, Who, When, Where, How and How much. Why we write this kind of fic? why we need it? What are we trying to accomplish? Who do we focus on? When did this trend start? Where does this leading us to? How do we do it right? How much is enough?

Wow look at these white knights coming to defend you, if you are truly sick of Jaune react fics, why aren’t sick of the countless numerous stories of white rose/ any other paring fan fics? With zero originality and parters saying they love each other. They number way more than Jaune react fics, dont like, don’t read, what’s wrong with saying that? I personally don’t like reading fics, but I’m not arrogant enough to tell people what they can write.

I agree with this as I hate seeing react fict of alternate RWBY worlds when they are not canonical. I want to see RWBY react to other fiction or worlds as they are, not alternative with RWBY inserted. To the people that support Jaune react fictions, I hope you realize they are utter garbage as they are pointless in the first place. What purpose do they serve other than to hype up a noncanonical Jaune that isn’t Jaune true to his character.

God i'm glad someone finally said it...as much as i enjoy these fics there are WAY too many of them...we need more original ideas
