Reviews for A song of Rings, Tears, and Wrath
ChunkyFunkyMunky chapter 7 . 1h
I guess Tybolt is supposed to be Tuor? It is strange that you named a Hightower “Beren” but not a Lannister “Tuor”. His and Idril’s son Eärendil will be quite older than Beren and Luthien’s granddaughter Elwing—assuming they are somewhat mortal.

Shouldn't they know that bleeding is stupid? Great chapter
exillion chapter 7 . 2h
Fucking finally!
Sauron's Wrath chapter 2 . 7/14
Wait, if Vhagar disappeared than what happened to Balerion? There's no mention of him now or later on.
Sauron's Wrath chapter 2 . 7/14
The red? Oh god, is Annatar going to be in this?

Any who, this is an amazing fanfic. I'm glad Gandalf is here, but also a little conflicted because it wouldn't make sense for him to come along with the elves, much less take part in such an escape attempt. Not to mention he's a few thousand years early, if we're going by Tolkien's years.
Guest chapter 1 . 7/14
Where did Fingolfin get a Silmaril, if that is one?
Anduneuial chapter 3 . 6/26
It's a pity that there are no Old Gods and Weirwoods. You can make them wrong interpretations of Maiar and creations of Yavanna respectively. The same thing can also be said about some other Gods, Natural Deities, Powers and Mythical Creatures like Mother Rhoyne, Horse God, God of Moonsingers etc. There are many in the series with barely any information about them.
Deus Swiftblade chapter 6 . 6/21
I like what you're writing here. It's an interesting mix. I do have some questions, though.

1) Is the North a part of Beleriand?

2) Where are the Starks? I would've thought they'd make an appearance by now. King of the Atani would make them a part of Beleriand in some fashion. And if the answer to question 1 is yes, then they'd have to be. Kings in the North, Kings of Winter, or even before they were kings, no one can deny the Starks were there first.
Muse of Schleissheim chapter 6 . 6/11
You are clearly well versed in Tolkien's lore, and while I'm far more learned in that than in ASOIAF, I know enough to appreciate how well done this crossover is so far.

Everything you've written is how I pictured it when reading the Silmarillion, from the sad and heavenly beauty of the elves to the dark and hateful cruelty of Morgoth and his servants. It was SO satisfying reading Fingolfin tell Aegon off like he did, doubly so when he did it again with Maegor. You did what I can only assume to be this world's version of Angband proper justice; it was like walking into hell itself. And this is only the beginning, if what you said about Jaehary's reign being a mere prelude is anything to go by...

I thought you handled Beren and Luthien rather well, it felt like I was getting the abridged version of a romance instead of something that was rushed. And considering how long this chapter was already, I'd say everything was about as well paced as it could be. Nothing felt forced, and I even smiled quite often reading their interactions. The scene in the Halls of Mandos did feel a bit cliche, but not enough to make it not enjoyable. The little surprise you threw in for Beren was a satisfying conclusion to that particular facet of his story.

All in all, well done so far! I eagerly await the next update!

So just like copy of Silmarillion story just different scenario and enemies ok
Sauron's Wrath chapter 6 . 6/1
I am speechless.

So, Beren is a Hightower. Seems fair to the story. One thing that's bugging is why the Dothraki have a skin changer among them? They primarily hate magic. And oh my word the Masked Ones. A Black Numenorean if I ever saw one! And Valyria, oh my word. That was practically the dead barrens of Arnor! The chills! And finally Eöl and Carcharoth. I knew Carcharoth was coming, but goddamn if I knew that was gonna happen... damn. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Eöl, he seems like a very interesting figure, knowing Tommen Lannister and apparently wielding Brightroar! He seems like a deranged Maiar of Aulë, but I'll wait to see what happens before settling on an answer.

Stay safe all!

Also, word of advice, put this fanfic in Royal Road. Just google it. Also, set up an paypal and patreon account. You send out a chapter a week, people would donate money to you to continue this amazing story.
exillion chapter 2 . 5/31
I've been waiting a long time for someone to make a fingolfin fanfic. Gods above, you've made my dream come true.
Hadrian.Caeser chapter 6 . 5/31
Do sad.

Nice
The Sidhe chapter 6 . 5/30
I think you have done justice to Beren and Luthien.

And why do I suspect that Morgoth and Feanor have killed one another? If so, that fits well with your version of both stories, and something I can easily see happening.

Once again, well done!
