Hmm. I have mixed feelings about this. I love the premise and the songs. I absolutely adore the fact that Kai is involved this time. While I understand that this was a short story, the interactions are lackluster. The ending was underwhelming. I wish that the other Mikaelsons gave stronger reactions in regards to Nera if she was really so close to the family. She was close to them when they were human. No creature that intimately close to their family remains alive other than her. I wish that it did not take just a simple confession from Elijah to win her back.

Still, I suppose it was good. Just not the best.

"It's about time" LMAO a charming story ruined only by its lacklustre end. What self respecting 'Queen' settle for second best without a single thought about it. I am all for second chances, but that was just pathetic. It's a short story, I get it, but it could've been written in a way that doesn't make Nera some sad, desperate woman waiting around for the man who jilted her for someone else. Chapter 2 should've been the ending if you were gonna go down with that cliche trope.
