I read this whole story in one go. Such an amazing story. Because I know what happens later( in the comics) of course I had a lingering sadness. The phoenix dies and along with it Jean Grey. And the affair Scott has with Emma. Ugh!

I'm sorry but I think you have Scott letting Jean off the hook way to easily. She lied by keeping something like that a secret. Disappointed in this chapter

Chapter 12 was a bit graphic, but I liked it. I'm glad they didn't take it too far, but I'm worried about Logan trying to protect jean. I mean, she is 18! It was the first time they had been together in the same room without any one there for a long period of time! I just want to yell at Logan,"They're ADULTS! They can do whatever they want. They're having all these hormones, didn't you have hormones when you were that age?"

I feel as if Xavier is just like he is in the comic books. He is more strict in the books than in the movies. I love this story though, I love all jott stories. Considering I know many writers and have read many fan fictions about Jean grey and Scott summers, I would say this is the best one I've read.

Why is this story in all italics? It's a bit hard to read.

I read this story years and years ago, when you were first posting it. I was home sick today and randomly thought of it. I doubt you still check reviews, but I wanted to say that it's still one of my all-time fave xmen fics.

oh my god this was amazing. i felt that i needed to make an account so i could tell you how great this was and follow this story. ive been reading fanfic but this is by far my favorite. great job really, scott is my favorite x man and jott is my favorite couple. You captured both their characters as well as their relationship so well. not only one of the best X men fics ive ever read but, one of the greatest fics ive ever read. I know its been 9 years since you wrote this but seriously great job.
